You couldnt get ANY decent fire pokemon until later in the game when you went to a specifically fire based area, this is true for like 95% of pokemon games. The only other option was to hope you found a growlithe somewhere

Meanwhile you could EASILY find water/grass types throughout the entire game and they all learn the same moves

If you didnt pick a fire starter you got some type of mental illness

Act like mega venasaur doesn't have thick fat brehs.

Act like a mega venasaur on calm nature with ( toxic, protect, giga drain, and sludge bomb) won't crack your shyt brehs.
:whoa: I stopped before the mega evolutions

Coli.
In the Kanto region you was a bytch if you ain't pick Charmander

1st badge was Rock
2nd badge was Water
3rd badge was Electric

choosing Charmander was the worst matchup wise
Charmander would get you thought the first gym because he can learn medal claw... then catch a bird type pokemon and fill the roster out

You're a person who would bypass a Single Class Challenge or Single Character Challenge unless it was the obvious choice.

It's okay to min/max. It takes an elite player to min/max what initially appears to be a worse starting option.
