shyt is straight mental retardation and this shyt has been revamped and is now spreading even more :snoop:

All new world black folk are descendants of slaves from West and Central African tribal groups who were likely Islamic due to Arab conquest or practiced African folk religions. Throughout the diaspora these folk religions and practices have survived as voodoo, hoodoo, vudu, brujeria, Santeria, Obeah, etc. to this day pure proof yet you got idiots claiming they are the original small hats
Some of these religions, at least in the Americans, are practiced mostly by "white" latinos. There's a netflix doc, Bigger than Africa, that shows these small groups of ppl still practicing "African" religions which were passed down from surivors of the trade. It was wild to see pale faces edify and claim ownership of African tradition.

Lol that’s why it’s hilarious to see ppl disparaging them when they literally practice ancient African traditions daily. It’s the centering of black American in the new world as the zenith of Africanness when it’s really just another symptom of American exceptionalism

What are you even saying?
First there's many places in Africa where people aren't cutting each other's heads of. Weird cracker talking point.

Those millions of people enslaved were of different tribes to each other, not one whole one.

This thread is poorly thought out. Obviously, its not gonna change our financial status but, its still important :aicmon:

The point to calling them out is to stop the lies, so black people can know their place in history. White people have been lying about history for centuries. They gaslight us and make us look like we're crazy for calling it out. The white man's game is to remove us from East and North Africa completely....when we were there...and then in West Africa, they minimize the importance of those empires, as if they were unimportant backwaters because they know they had no involvement in Mali, Ghana, Benin and Songhai and know they can't play those games. So, they ignore WA completely. So we're getting screwed either way. Mali was the richest place on Earth at one point in time and there's been not a single movie or tv show about it. NOT ONE :why:

They got the world believing the Moors weren't black, when there's statues, flags and paintings of those muthafukkas looking darker than me. They got the world believing Egypt wasn't black in Ancient times when it's an country in Africa, next to a country with the blackest people on Earth, a place that stated repeatedly their ancestors came from the South (interior Africa) and a place that frequently painted Egyptians and Nubians as one. Yet they gaslight us like we can't read or see this :why: Even if you want to argue the majority of Egyptians were mixed/arab, a large percentage of them would have been black. And lastly, they got the world believing the Ancient Jews were white when you cannot be white living in a 100 degree desert. It don't add up :why: The Ancient Hebrews would have looked like your average Saudi, Iraqi, Lebanese, Syrian, Palestian today with a handful being black due to mixing. That whole region from Nubia to Canaan would have ranged in skintones from Black to Brown but, had enough of both races living in all these places to not cause alarm when Hebrews hid in Egypt and vice versa (Moses).

Like, they got Zipporah right but, Moses IRL would have looked alot darker....more like the complexion of Riz Ahmed (pictured below). Instead he looks white :why: There's no way he could have ever been confused for an Egyptian :why:

You just named the differences :skip:

Whats crazy is the centering of black Americans in slavery as if it’s a phenomenon that only happened here.

Where are the black Jew descendants in Dominican Republic where black slaves arrived first in the new world?

Where are the black jews in Brazil where more slaves arrived in the new world than anywhere else?

Again these places retained more African customs than us, yet it all points to western African countries and nation states. Wolof, senegambian etc ie verifiable and scalable. Yet black Hebrew Israelites would rather explain something that is not even possible or loosely affiliated but not applicable to 99 percent of us.

This is self hatred, no other explanation

Brazil has its religion/culture that actually has similarities to "Yoruban" religion/culture. And of course Judaism has similarities to "Yoruban" mythos/religious practices. And here in america we have the Bible? We just choose not to actually practice most of the precepts and customs. Seems like the customs/religion followed us perfectly fine as intended:respect:

They're all Abrahamic religions. Why can Black people practice one of them, but it's a huge deal if they practice the other? That's my point.

Black Brazilians (and other Afro Latinos) can barely even admit that they're Black, and you're saying their African culture was maintained?

What African Languages and tribes are in the Caribbean?

There are Black Jewish communities in West Africa (and other parts of Africa) and some have even been genetically tested and proven to have Jewish ancestry. That's somehow considered self-hate, but by that same standard, Black Christians and Black Islamists are also self haters, according to you.

Black means different things depending on the context and culture you’re in.

Example Black in Dominican culture has historically meant Haitian or enslaved and given the context it makes sense. Why would they identify with a group with a diffferwnt culture, language and colonial system of oppression?

So identify as black or not has zero to do with celebration of african ancestry. This is more American exceptionalism at play. :francis:

There are Black Jewish communities in West Africa (and other parts of Africa) and some have even been genetically tested and proven to have Jewish ancestry. How is that self-hatred? And why aren't Black Christians nor Black Islamists self haters?

Black Hebrew Israelite make no mention of the Jewish communities in west Africa. Actually more often the black Hebrew Israelite in America has cycled thru a handful of identifies that distance itself from Western Africa altogether.

These are COTDAMN lies LMAOO :mjlol:
Spoken like a nikka that has never visited South-America and knows nothing of creole languages and ATRs in the Diaspora.

The African Languages and customs of the Diaspora are preserved in creole languages and ATRs. The grammar, syntax are African, because their ancestors created creole languages out of necessity being West-African and Central African language speakers.
The deities are the same as those Africa.

Again, the Diasporic Traditional African Religions are undeniable PROOF of the West and Central African linguistic and cultural preservations in the Black Diaspora.

"Candomblé and Umbanda are two religious cults that developed when the Portuguese forcibly converted the slaves to Catholicism. In a successful attempt to preserve their own religious traditions, the slaves related the Catholic saints to their own African spirits, called orixás."

Candomblé is (1) the Afro-Brazilian religious cults of Bahia, with origins in Yoruban religious ritual and belief, created by African slaves and their descendants; (2)

So that answers that, they had to start a "cult" in order to maintain their religious practices and cultures. So essentially you would have to do the same in America if you dont want to practice the whitewashed version of christianty/catholicism. You could try it,but you would likely get mocked like hebrew israelites. And we all saw what happened to Carbonation:francis:
