you out of your fukking mind. Basketball is one of the more popular sport in the world.Stop your god damn lying. It's definitely not popular in the UK, but for Italy, Greece, Spain and alot of Eastern European countries, it's the second most popular sport(though Hockey might be more popular in Russia).Basketball is really big in South America too. Don't forget China and alot of African countries. Basketball's one of the sports at the Olympic, people actually give a fukk about. And yes, we do dominate.
yes, I went back to bold the stuff that I meant, just so you don't get it twisted. You had this misconception that the gist of my argument was about who would do better in each respected sport, when my main argument was who is the better athlete.
I bolded the ones where we do better than other countries at. It's at least 3. Which other country can you say, does 3 or more sport better than other countries?
Naw, this thread highlights why dumb muh'fukkas should THINK before posting. This thread highlights why America got their ass kicked in vietnam and currently in Afghanistan ....
typical American arrogance, I dont think it ever occurs to most Americans that if the whole world took basketball or American football seriously that America would get its ass kicked constantly....lol
You just stupidly assume that if you take a sport seriously you will win...tell that to Usain Bolt
soccer stars are waayyy fitter than any basketball player, its scientific...check out any beep tests results, most soccer stars retire by age of 33 because the levels of fitness are extreme whereas you have these out of shape basketball players that seem to be playing forever
is it true spain is the most racist country in the eu?
If Soccer were as popular in the U.S. as it is around the world, for sure the U.S. would be one of the top teams. Imagine if every American Boy played soccer from a young age, and only soccer, got proper coaching from knowledgeable elders who knew the subtle nuances of the sport, shiiieeeeet. Instead American kids are coached by "soccer moms" and fathers who don't know much about the sport. By the time they're 10 years old, they mostly play Football, Basketball, and Baseball, and stop playing soccer all together. Kids from the Snowy cac states might play Hockey. Kids from the States that matter (California,Texas,Florida etc.) don't care about Hockey. A lot of Latin American kids whose fathers love soccer, become Americanized and prefer Football/Baseball/Basketball.
It's not arrogant to say any team sport MOST Americans CARE about we excel in. We might not win all the time, but we'll always be a top contender. Are Dudes in here really comparing America's athletes to India and China's? We have the athletes and resources. All we need is the passion and knowledge of the sport, and the rest of the world would be

Christ I thank God I changed nationality....If you people travelled more you would understand why the rest of the world sees americans as stupid and ignorant.....
firsty most sports america cares about no one else does, so you can excel all you want be we all know it aint no real world series....
let me put your argument in perspective....
China is the worlds richest economy and the current economic superpower....suppose they put huge resources into basketball...do you think all of a sudden they could come over to the states and beat the Kobes and Lebrons off the park??...... of course not because anyone with half a brain will tell you that you cant build decades of sporting culture overnight...
look at cuba?...they aint got a pot to piss in but they have consistently produced top notch boxers because its in a culture that was passed from father to son....
sport requires skill, you can throw all the money at it you want but you cant teach someone to be a pele, maradonna or messi, it aint happening, you are either born with it or you arent, that kind of ability is the result of generations of sporting ability...
do i think america would do better if they took soccer seriously...let me put it in perspective they spend more on soccer than any of the african nations...and your teams are still crap...
Joseph Gyau, still tryna crack Hoffenheim's first teamProper, I'd completely forgotten that I'd wanted to watch this.
Damn, I can't remember the name of the young American player who'd scored some sort of freakish Nike SPARQ rating a few years back. I want to say he was one of these new half-cac Germans, but he might've been born to Ghanian parents. Wonder where all that athleticism has taken him so far

As for this thread, it's too hot and I don't have the energy
Just know that if the set up is still the same, America will never be an elite nation in the sport even if it becomes our most popular sport.
Breh, it's the height of stupidityBu-bu-but our athletes are bigger, stronger and faster than everyone elses
Breh, it's the height of stupidity
One cat had that nonsensical line up with Dwight Howard in goal and Ed Reed and Troy P in defense. That shyt was mind blowing.
Spain's u23 team would beat 95% of the world, tbfWell i did kill the convo when i said the Spain u23s would beat them. And that Xavi and them complete more passes in 6 games than Brady has done in his career
