my argument is on, who is the better athlete. Not who is more skilled. Of all the terms that I posted earlier to determine an athlete, can you seriously say Messi or Ronaldo would apply to more than Lebron?

No, the argument that you brought into this thread was whether Ronaldo would be a better basketball player than LeBron would be soccer player, an argument I won pages ago. Like, I'm sitting at my desk turning computer paper into confetti throwing the belt on like Steve Novak (that's a lie I'm actually in bed doing none of the previously mentioned). I don't know what you've been on about since.
don't try to pic and choose nikka. You know damn well, this was what I was talking about. Bringing up the who would do better in which respective sport, was a way to help start the arguments. It was just a bonus. I came into this thread to post the bold.yeah, but we're doing better than the UK
Anyways, I was lurking bodybuilder a few days ago, and a few people actually had the nerve to say that Cristiano Ronaldo is a better athlete than Lebron fukking James. some of them said that Ronaldo would most likely make it in the NBA than Lebron making it into professional football.
no. My main statement was people saying Ronaldo is the better athlete

Also we worked out America only dominates American football (something that is only played In The us) and I think basketball (which isn't really popular, I've drank all over the world and only saw a game being played in a bar in Florida).
Apart from that, great thread.
yes, I went back to bold the stuff that I meant, just so you don't get it twisted. You had this misconception that the gist of my argument was about who would do better in each respected sport, when my main argument was who is the better athlete. And I would know this how? Because you just went back and bolded part of your post?
That's a fantastic question, though. What international sports does the U.S. dominate in?
Hockey? No.
Baseball? No.
Basketball? Yes. The opinions of the English in this matter are irrelevant as they've somehow missed out on them being just about the only people in the world not playing this game. Probably a direct reflection of their CAC levels.
Boxing? No.
Tennis? Half?
Soccer? No.
Rugby? No.
Cricket? No.
Track? No.
Field? Who the fukk knows.
Rowing?
Swimming? I guess?
10m Air pistol? Probably?
Who the fukk is dominating baseball?
No one plays that shyt, that would be like us not dominating crufts.
Crufts is probably more interesting tbh
Since the Thread starter said it would be our #1 sport, imma look at it from an unbiased point of view.
Soccer is a sport that is a direct comparison to basketball. Both from an accessibility standpoint and and a socioeconomic standpoint. People in South America, poor people, rich people, and the middle class would play soccer everywhere and anywhere they can, like hoops. Even recreation-ally. Basketball here is the most played sport, period. Now we are imagining if soccer was #1. That means cats in the hood, instead of And 1 mix tapes on hoops, you got Puma 1 mix tapes in soccer. Nyggas would be saucing cats while walking to school with soccer balls or in any neighborhood. Footwork would intern be developed as well as a great sense of the game. You even got white cats from the burbs playing bringing in there own unique style whatever it may be. Even means our best athletes growing up are kicking around soccer balls over baseballs, footballs and basketballs. Our youth program would be that of a more developed AAU system. Jordan and Jerry Rice woulda been Pele status here. The competition level in the states would be premier which would mean our athletes are prepared for those over seas.
Would it be the best? Now that I think about it, in a fantasy alternate 'Sliders' type universe...probably. Our lineup would look something like this right now.
---Dwight Howard (GK)---
---T. Polamalou(LB), K. Durant(CB), P. Willis(CB), D. Revis(RB)---
---Ed Reed (Center Defensive MidFielder)---
---K.Bryant (LM, Captain), L.James(RM)---
---R.Bush(Left Wing), Wes Welker(Right Wing)---
---Calvin Johnson(Striker)---
Squad would kill, not to mention all the Strikers we would have. It would be a saying "They Don't have U.S. speed..."
Calvin Johnson up top
euros would be flopping left and right with dudes like dwight on the field
@ the thought of kobe hogging the soccer ball
dude would be kicking the ball into groups of people like how he tries to shoot contested jumpers
