PBC tried some fighters as commentators and they never panned out, definitely didn't help the broadcast.

not to get off topic from the thread..Tarver panned out...that dude has the IT factor behind the mic..he was a highlight on the PBC broadcasts..esp PBC on Spike....he's better than the showtime team for sure, the HBO team, on par with Roy in terms of being well rounded, and more entertaining to listen to than Ward

The Term Casual has jumped the shark.

People use it and throw it out there to disparage another and I dont see why. I've boxed and have watched boxing for 55+ years. Just cause I aint all the threads and pop up during fight nights doesnt mean I know less about boxing than you.

The term casual is used in here for casual poster, or casual watcher. Yea if you don't post in the Boxing forum, I'm going to assume you haven't been watching boxing for 55+ () years

GGG landed a lot more cleaner punches then people are giving him credit for. Also notice that dumb bytch Byrd had her eyes on Canelo damn near the whole fight

It was excellent.


People was cheering and talking loudly during the fight and when 118-110 came up, half the theatre started booing

Very active theater. Clapping for the Mexican Anthem...everyone cheered after our anthem. Mexicans, whites, Blacks, couples. They cheered hard for both and it got super loud for power shots or when they shook their heads after eating shots. Canelo hitting power shots before the bell got some oohs but you could everyone going "hear comes GGG" by the mid rounds. Everyone cheered after the Round 10 action.

Sound of shock when it came up as a draw.

Exactly..in the OG thread I found one of my posts from 2012 talmbout Canelo's stamina...screenshot it...in 2017..its still a problem...canelo is not some novice fighter...he is not a tony harrison..he is a vet who started fighting at 15.. he has 12 years in this pro game and 50 something fights. This is not a problem he should be having..period....As he nears 30 do you think his stamina will get better as he ages? Or you think he has a large window to correct that?

I been telling nikkas from day one its the way Canelo throws punches. He loads up on everything.
