If Dallas wins a title will Kyrie be put on the Mt Rushmore of 1B/Robin players alongside Pippen…..?

SO NOBODY BUT KYRIE....

ITS SO BAD YOUVE RESORTED
TO PROPPING UP BOB COUSY
FROM AN ERA YOUVE DONE
NOTHING BUT shyt ON
LET ALONE SEEN PLAY

What do you mean, "nobody but Kyrie"? There were multiple guys on that list who have scored 27/29 ppg fpr a Finals series, dumbass. I only started with Cousy to show how dumb your argument was. If you're comparing who the best players were, simply asking "But who scored 27ppg for a Finals?" while completely ignoring era, context, and the rest of their games is a stupid basis of comparison.

You prove over and over again that you know nothing about basketball or basketball history besides your emotions and ppg.

Why would they have to do it as a #2? :dahell:

Most of the players on that list were good enough that they were the #1 in Finals too, but purposely had to reduce their points slightly while increasing their other roles in the years where they were a #2. Does that make them inferior to a player who was ONLY elite at scoring and can ONLY make the Finals as a #2 cause he was never good enough to carry a good team as the #1? :laff:

You keep having to make your conditions more and more arbitrary to try to elevate Kyrie just because you hate Bron. :dead:

Yes, and many of the GOAT #2's were good enough that in several other years, they were #1s. They became #2's because the team was that stacked, not because (like Kyrie), they showed they clearly couldn't carry a team as the #1.

So your criteria is to only consider PPG and ignore literally everything else, but they can't be good enough at scoring to have been a great #1 on their own? :skip:

So this thread just turned into hating on Pippen to prop up Jordan because if Jordan is seen as having a valuable teammate then him being the GOAT could possibly be questioned?

KYRIE AND PIPPEN ARE LITERALLY
IN THE THREAD TITLE...

WHY WOULDNT THEY BE COMPARED
IN THIS THREAD?

PIPPEN AINT NEVER DID THE shyt
KYRIE HAS DONE ON FINALS RUNS.

And Kyrie was never as versatile as Pippen.

Kyrie never played defense even CLOSE to as good as Pippen.

Kyrie was never as good a primary distributor as Pippen.

Kyrie was never as good a rebounder as Pippen.

Kyrie never led a playoff squad as well as Pippen.

And that's before we even get to the 16 other players I mentioned who all have more rings as a sidekick than Kyrie does.....but suddenly ring counts don't matter anymore?

6>1

But...but....but....PPG!!!!

Are we overlooking that Pippen was like 3rd in the MVP voting in the '93-94 season and the Bulls won 55 games with him as the #1?

Just show me where Kyrie has done something similar...

But you forget, Kyrie averaged 27ppg in a Finals. Therefore, Kyrie is better. Argument over.

Imagine if I said, "LeBron led his team in all categories in a Finals. Jordan never did that. Argument over!"

Leading your team in every category is far more unique than scoring 27ppg as a #2. Yet no one here would buy that as an end-all argument for comparing two players. We realize the full context of every season matters, not just one stat from one series.

For some reason, the hypocrisy abounds whenever a certain someone is in their feelings about Bron.

"The year the East was loaded" - you're such a disingenuous clown. :russ:

The ONLY team the Celtics beat that year was a mediocre Pacers squad who lost their #1 player (Oladipo) before the series even started. It was Kyrie, Tatum, Brown, Horford, Hayward, and Rozier going up against Bojan Bogdanovic, Tyreke Evans, and Darren Collison.

The very next series they got wasted by Milwaukee, losing a back-end sweep by a combined 65 points. And remember, the year before that AND the year after that, they made it to Game 7 of ECF without Kyrie.....but when Kyrie was there they only won a single game in the 2nd round.

That's Kyrie's big accomplishment as a #1. His ONLY series win in 6 seasons as the team leader. Beating a team without their best player and they getting slaughtered by a starting lineup of 24yo Giannis, Middleton, Bledsoe, Mirotic, and Lopez.
