If you can make a catchy and memorable hooks you can have a hit. The verses are secondary. The formula is simple but hard to execute. That why a lot of the other girls rappers are not succeeding in rap. They can't make any hooks. Ice Spice did and that is why she got a hit. Simple as that. She will probably be a one hit wonder but women rappers with more talent are still searching for that. Take Rubi Rose for example. Some people like Rubi Rose voice but she can't make a hook. All her hooks are forgettable. City Girls arguably only had 1 hit that they did on their own and haven't made a good hook in a while. That is why they are more known for podcast and being in the media than their music. And Meg is slowly drifting in dangerous territory because I don't think she had a hit on her last album.

Y’all nikkas stay in y’all feelings over someone else’s success
:heh:
Lmao men HATE thot rap. The reaction men give to thot rap is how I would expect women to react to current rap music, but they go right along with being called bytches and hoes I don’t see how they listen to it honestly

I love NY music. Listen to Nas like every day. Of course listen to Jay. Ghost face and Raekwon. AZ. I mean I’m from Atlanta and nikkas used to tell me to turn some of the shyt off I used to play. Outside of Pac and Kast I probably listen to more older NY shyt than anything

But y’all drill shyt sound horrible.. :scusthov:like that shyt sound bad. It’s copied from that London shyt anyway. Y’all need to go back to what y’all was doing or create something new. B4 u even mention Atlanta music. Ain’t no new artist I like at all. So this ain’t about no city vs city stuff. Chick got a phat ass so it’s a reason she skyrocketed over the rest.

Why would they have to go back to whatever you’re referring to if it’s financially lucrative? If the people who were around you had say so all those NY acts you enjoyed wouldn’t be around so what’s the difference? :russ:
