I :heh: at them cause they're like male versions of a ratchet hood chick mixed with an old school black woman except they dress better.

Personally though, I think it's just in some of them to act the way they do. Like that lohanthony kid. Dude was like 12 and already acting that way. I don't know his life or what influenced him but it just seems natural to him. And I knew a few dudes who grew up that way. It was just them.

The funniest thing to me in this thread though is the people who agree with the OP cause they think he's condemning gays in general.

being black is biological. you are born black. you can't be born gay. so no it is not as natural and no it is not the same

There are quite a few people who would disagree with that. Even people who hate gays.

Not saying there aren't things that can happen early in life to influence your preferences but yeah. Edit: or even later in life

Prove you can't be born gay. Peer reviews scientific sources that state being gay isn't genetic. Otherwise, shut the fukk up.

I'll wait, nikka.

There are actually strong epigenetic factors that affect sexuality, but that's besides the point. The point is that sexuality, like color, isn't something you choose. I never chose to be straight. Gay people don't choose to be gay.

It can't be proven either way. And even if a person is born with a gay tendency that doesn't mean they will act on it. And there is no way you can tell a person is gay unless they tell you they are.

None of this holds true for skin color. You're definitely born with it and other people know your skin color without you opening you're mouth.

Skin color and sexual orientation are two non-comparable issues. And I wish people would stop making the comparison.

Burden of proof, nikka.

Scientists have to prove that there IS a gay gene, not that there isn't.

You godless heathens quick to talk about burden of proof when it comes to the concept of "God", but you conveniently forget about it when it comes to gayness. :childplease:

this is a study, meaning that most of these assertions are based on speculation.

I didn't compare them. And even if a gay person never acted on their gay desires, they're still gay or bi.

The attraction is what defines sexuality, not the actions on it.

Basically.

Some societies used to kill babies of the races they wanted to exterminate...nobody was killing gay babies because they didn't know they were gonna grow up to be gay by looking at them.

And you're never gonna find a study where a baby was born smiling because of a penis in their butt...

You haven't done what I asked. You need to post scientific proof that states homosexuality isn't genetic before you make statements like that. Prove sexuality is a choice.

No one needs to do anything. Don't make blanket statements with no proof. There isn't conclusive proof either way but it really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

No...

You're not a seamstress until you sew some clothes, no matter how fond you might be of the idea.

No matter how much you've thought about killing someone, you're not a murderer until you kill someone.

If you have a salad for every meal, are you a vegetarian? Not if the salad has bacon bits on it.

You are defined by your actions.

The problem is, bigotry is only one facet of the history of blacks in America. The entire story is not one that can be compared to the history of homosexuals in America. So by taking this one small part, and using the entire issue to draw comparisons, you disrespect the people who have truly gone through systematic hate and racism.

You're agreeing with me and then disagreeing with an argument that I did not make. It is not disrespectful to compare the justifications used by bigots while promoting bigotry, especially when the language and logic are completely alike. We are not arguing institutional racism, systemic discrimination, or anything else. Again, there is no American parallel to the black experience when it comes to those issues.

I'm not arguing whether blacks have been put through more hell, I'm arguing that individuals who unjustifiably dislike black folks and black culture, use the same phrases as those who unjustifiably dislike homosexual behavior and culture.

If bigotry is the topic, there are plenty of other examples you could use, that don't carry all of the implications of the black experience.

I see what you're doing here and it is inconsistent. In my context, bigoted language is just that. You are not absolved from being a bigot because you believe that being gay is unnatural (or insert other belief here). Again, we are not discussing institutional discrimination, we are discussing language and how we identify the unique and harmless behavior of certain individuals within a collective to be indicative of the collective itself, or unworthy of acceptance in society.

And that, is the exact same nonsense white bigots have used since it became unfashionable to use the word ******.
