I wasnt really comparing blacks to gays, but rather the hardship both parties have to endure. I think with the flamboyant gays, like being ratchet it's a personal choice, so the same way a hood chick decides to put 3000 rainbow colors of weave in her head and act obnoxious, the same way a gay man decides to go out of his way to behave outlandish, I honestly don't believe his being gay is what makes him act so over the top, it's his personality.

I think it's absolutely possible to "tolerate" something you are repulsed by, and we do it everyday. The difference is between "tolerance" and "acceptance".

For example: i'm not a fan of melted cheese. If i'm around melted cheese or smell it, it irritates me physically almost to the point to nausea. Therefore, I won't "accept" it for myself, but I understand other people love it who may be in the vicinity and I won't say anything to them about it or knock their cheesburger out of their hand.

In like manner - The threadstarter can correct me if i'm wrong, but he didn't say anything about taking away the rights of gays or impeding the rights they can potentially have here. He does not "accept" them, but he is "tolerating" them - he would not be "tolerant" if he were to assault them or attempt to infringe on their rights.

He can feel this way if he wants, but there are some people who will say he is "hateful" to feel that way. I think that is extreme to say.
