Mace Windu number 1. People like to act like sidous threw that fight, but George Lucas said in the commentary that Windu beat him fair and sqaure. Yoda couldn't even do that, and Sidous made short work of other established Jedi.
After that probably Sidous

Then Obi Wan, Vader and Dooku are tied. They've all taken wins and losses against each other.

Yoda would have beaten Sidious in saber duel if he didn't start hurling stadium seats at him
Vader is above Dooku and Obi Wan. Obi was %100 defensive in their duel and only beat Vader when he decided to be a moron

Yoda could've retrieved his lightsaber and continued fighting, but instead he conceded and ran away. Thats a L.
Vader, Dooku, and Obi wan are all on the same level. its about more about matchups. Vader = George Foreman, Dooku = Frazier, Obi wan = Ali
Ali verse Foreman = Ali wins because all he gotta do is play defense until he gets tired and makes a mistake. then knock him out
Foreman versus Frazier = Foreman knocks his ass out because Frazier can't finesse his way through all that power.
Frazier vs Ali 1 = Frazier wins because there aren't enough mistakes for Ali to exploit eventually he gets caught and slept.

That's how i saw it at least.

Grevious thought he was Mr. Hot shyt because Count Dooku trained him. It's expanded upon in the book that he took that fact with great glee. I wish they had let this one liner from the book stay in the film:

General Grievious: "I've been trained in your Jedi arts by Count Dooku."
Obi Wan: "And I trained the Jedi who defeated him. "

Ben has the most bodies in this series I think.

That's a solid ranking list. Mace is underrated since most of his showings were in side stories.

Can't remember where I read it but it was stated Mace was the best with the saber. In a fair one nobody was seeing him. Maybe peak Vader had a chance. Yoda was close.

& Obi wasn't way superior to Maul. Maul has hung with him & gave him that work during the numerous battles.

Why did the higher ground theory not work for Darth Maul against Obi wan ??

Hes using a double sided light sabre doing jujitsu moves with sword in hand against an entry level jedi and heralded jedi master yet when he has the high ground against ONE of them he suddenly turns into greedo ???

People are misunderstanding that line. He didn't have an advantage, he was pleading with whatever weak argument he could to stop the inevitable.

He clearly had an advantage,he was on even ground....but he probably anticipated young vader making a dumb move thinking he could overcome his disadvantage.

People under estimate OG wan. He defeated Darth Maul, Grievous, and Darth Vader. One after the other. Only person who had his number was Dooku

Its the Dooku loss that looks bad on his resume tho,you cant put him him over Vader because of that...then the fact Vader killed Dooku in impressive fashion and had to carry unconscious Obie Wan on his back,just a bad look....

This was hands down the worst of the prequel movies.

Definitely not just by default. It was lazily made even more so than clones was, but just by default it’s better even with it being one of the most lazily shot movies I’ve ever seen with it being almost entirely shot on green screen and in shot reverse shot for every scene.

Phantom menace is an incoherent mess that has no main character, no clear antagonist, no established cause of the main conflict, no clear motivation for the bad guys, a bunch of terrible kid actors, almost every decision made and every line of dialogue makes no sense, the ending multiplication effect was really bad, and there was jar jar. The only redeeming qualities of the movie were the score, the podrace, and the fight choreography, admittedly all three of those things being great.


Clones was worse too. It too was nearly entirely shot on green screen which aged horribly, wasted too much time on trivial shyt, never establishes the cause of the central conflict or the motivations of the bad guys on top of not introducing dooku until close to 2/3 of the way into the movie and not even bothering to explain who he is or what he’s doing, the acting is much worse, sections of the plot are way too convoluted, there’s connecting scenes for the clone stuff that’s clearly missing, characters again do stupid things that make no sense, the film spends an offensive amount of time stealing shots, imagery, or set pieces from other movies which include empire strikes back without having a clue why they worked in those movies, and then there’s even more time spent in clones on the WOAT romance plot. It was nominated for a few razzie awards for a reason.
