I personally think that Episode 1 should have never happened. You make Episode 2 into Episode 1, then make a clone wars film that coulda showed off more of Mace Windu, showed how Anakin was basically Captain America for the republic/jedi and how many out cold agents Palpatine actually had at his disposal.

I think then Episode 3 makes way more sense. Anakin doesn't look like a petulant child, he looks like a superior fighter and leader that's been shafted out of his promotion/re-assignment he's been working majority of his life for. Mace Windu's power is well established and makes for a much better fight between Palpatine contextually. And it makes Anakin's turn alot less sudden...

I mean that was obvious to me like the hour after ROTS was over.

Yeah, they started it off at the wrong jumping point in Ep 1, then dragged out a bunch of nothing. II, Clone Wars & III and it's perfect.

The only problem is without Ep I, where do you start off? You have to show where Aakin came from, and the early machinations of Palpatine. They can't time jump in the film - not Star Wars. Maybe they show the Master Sifo-Dyass stuff, but then II would seem redundant.

HMMM from what we know, how do we fix I, so that it fits with the rest?

Real spoiler ahead if you watch the The Clone Wars:whoa:
latest
Last part I was up to his younger brother is looking for him in the other rim for training, so Maul is still alive. He probably went into hiding to not get killed. How is he alive? Who cares? Brothers are about to put in some work. :banderas:

Maul was supposed to be dead.. They revived him cause he was popular, underused & worth money... Savage goes to get him... His hatred kept him alive... Theyve put in plenty work, I read the Maul comics & own his return DVD... Im waitin to see who took them out, or if they lived past Vader...

I was kinda mad about Grievous cause they built him up & he aint do shyt.... Im not a big fan but I expected him to be good... Obi made him look like preschool...

It ties into him having the number 1 defense and how he is able to survive a duel with prime Vader....

Some of the CGI didn't age well, but the Jedi Purge, the Duels, and last parts of the Clone Wars are still excellent...

Wished they would have had Ghost Qui-Gon though....

People under estimate OG wan. He defeated Darth Maul, Grievous, and Darth Vader. One after the other. Only person who had his number was Dooku

What y'all rank saber masters?
Mace Windu number 1. People like to act like sidous threw that fight, but George Lucas said in the commentary that Windu beat him fair and sqaure. Yoda couldn't even do that, and Sidous made short work of other established Jedi.
After that probably Sidous
Then Yoda
Then Obi Wan, Vader and Dooku are tied. They've all taken wins and losses against each other.
Then Darth Maul
Qui Gon

That's a solid ranking list. Mace is underrated since most of his showings were in side stories.

I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
Grevious thought he was Mr. Hot shyt because Count Dooku trained him. It's expanded upon in the book that he took that fact with great glee. I wish they had let this one liner from the book stay in the film:

General Grievious: "I've been trained in your Jedi arts by Count Dooku."
Obi Wan: "And I trained the Jedi who defeated him. :umad:"
