I'm not gonna make any bold statements about a game where, 2-3 quarter in, fans were claiming Tua was cooked and the new coach was fukking up. It was a great comeback and salute to Tua for balling.
As a Lions fan who saw Coli ppl praise/defend a black coach here who I knew needed to be fired (Caldwell) I can sympathize with the OP. All I can do is look at the coaching record and some of the games I saw over the years. Record wise it looks like he needed another season. But if there's one thing that's becoming clear it's that defensive minded coaches are slowly being phased out for offensive coaches who can take your QB to the next level. Miami clearly decided to do that and today was certainly the type of (overall) performance the organization wanted.

Yeah, the offenses Tua was running in the Flores era were downright ugly, not saying he played perfect but it was so conservative and Dolphins always seemed to play tight. Didn’t help that his weapons were fukkin Albert Wilson and Preston Williams.
Really my problem was that Tua kept getting benched for Ryan Fitzpatrick and Jacoby Brissett, for what? How do you expect your QB to grow if you keep benching him when things go south? If Flores was coaching yesterday, even with Cheetah and Waddle, Tua would’ve got benched yesterday in favor of Teddy B and that comeback doesn’t happen.
