I think the Cleveland Cavaliers are deserving of a lowkey thread

durant, curry and davis :mjpls: lebron has been unimpressive
Whatever he is, he's better and more experienced than anyone on ATL. He's nowhere near afterthought status like you suggested.

we got the better team and system tho :sas1:

lets keep it real. any team with bron has a chance to win the title. they are going to move out the east no problem this year. but next year they should get their act together. (just like the heat did)

I don't think the previous Bronvelier teams had a chance, but this one most certainly does

You will have ample opportunity to prove it. Until that happens we can't act like having a player of Lebron's caliber with his experience isn't a big deal.

Yeah, JR Smith is taking 15 shots a game with them, the shots were there for Young Canada to take if they had kept him. They could have still made moves to get Mozgov, Shumpert, JR Smith or a PF, and still had Wiggins in the fold, watching them play their perimeter oriented "lets take turns" style right now Wiggins would have been fine with them.

We were robbed of seeing a Tmac/Vince style pairing.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Having a shot at the title /= to being the #1 team. I didn't say they are the favorites to win it, but come May they could be in the talks as the contender coming out the east. And no, the Warriors are not a championship caliber team IMHO. I don't see them dominanting a Memphis or a San Antonio in a halfcourt set. I'll give you the Grizz though.

I really don't think they have a shot this year though :yeshrug: I don't get how you can say they have a shot but the Warriors don't when the teams are pretty similar in their build, except for the fact the Warriors are worlds better defensively.

Is Wiggins already a franchise player? I didn't know the verdict was out yet.

Kevin Love isn't a franchise player, and since the Wolves moved Wiggins to shooting guard he looks like a potential franchise player, everyone thought he was going to be a 3, but him playing at the 2 has been :merchant: status. Since making the switch to the 2, he's averaged 20/5/3/1 on 48%, those are crazy numbers for a rookie 2.

@Malta This wiggins narrative needs to stop. He's a good rookie but implying he would be a better contributor than kevin love on the cavs is silly. He's averaging 14 points on a team that is 6 and 32. Stop it fam. He might turn out to be a good player in the near future but he wasn't going to help the cavs THIS year or next.

:dead:

Nah, the Wiggins "narrative" won't stop because he's getting better and better as the season progresses, we rounding down numbers too? He's averaging 15ppg and that number is steadily climbing, people who haven't watched him just keep quoting season numbers, when the jump he's made at the 2 is massive. There's no need to talk about him turning into a good player in the future, he's a good player now :russ: The question for the future will be is he a superstar or not, and how quickly he can turn into one if he is, just being "good" is already here.

Also :camby: with talking about their record, you were probably willing to trade for Love when he was posting 26/13 on a 26-40 win team.
