I think the Cleveland Cavaliers are deserving of a lowkey thread

Maybe you haven't watched us play or see what were doing to teams on a nightly basis, but Bron can get his points, he's not beating a balanced & deep Hawks team that is a better defensive & offensive team than CLE and has shooters all over the floor. Coach Bud is a far superior coach to Blatt as well so adjustment wise we have an advantage there too plus we will probably have HCA.

And I don't see how Love or Kyrie are playing without pressure, maybe not as much as Bron but they're getting criticized as well. And again, this would be their FIRST time in the playoffs and that's 2/3 of their Big 3. If we played them in the playoffs they'd get 2 games, tops. You can't suck ass all yr, in a new system with new players and just think you're gonna go on a deep playoff run

Regular season team, they've been deep for years :camby:

:whoa: Don't get me wrong I certainly appreciate what the Hawks are doing. I actually root for teams like them that managed to figure out how to be competitive without being a big time FA destination or lucking into a top player in the draft. That said, you can't discount the value of a player on Lebron's level being fully engaged in a playoff series. Everything you said was true about the Spurs too and an engaged Bron was basically single-handedly keeping them in games before the Spurs went historic. If you think the Hawks are ready, with their limited experience, to put on that type of a show then more power to you put I personally don't think you can truly judge a team until you May/June rolls around.

Exactly Spurs last year and the Mavs in 2011 was some historic shooting out of their minds type sh*t, and both teams had a top 15 player. That kind of sh*t will never happen to ATL, they don't have that kind of player :manny:

I agree with you that you can't fully judge a team till the playoffs. It's just funny hearing people (maybe not you) suspend belief when watching CLE play b/c they're barely back over .500, but when were crushing really really good teams in their building "well we'll see when the playoffs come". :aicmon: I'm just calling bullshyt on that

Doesn't ATL have like one of the best home records and sh*t because all the players go clubbing in their city? Just look at the Spurs, the regular season is no indication of what a team can do in the playoffs

This is basketball and having the best player in the world (or something close to it) actually playing like it counts for more than it does in any other sport, especially come playoff time. Teague and Al are nice but what they gonna do about 30, 10, 6 Lebron flying all over the court on defense with Kyrie and Love playing free as fukk because there is no pressure, literal or figurative, on them? You are right, at this point there isn't really much to be impressed with in Cleveland which is why I prefaced my statement like I did.

I couldn't have said it any better. And in JR and Shumpert to the mix, it's gonna be some playoff f*ckery :banderas:

:childplease:

How do you explain us having one of the best road records in the league then?

They don't have a chance at the title this year IMO, whoever comes out the West is going to be a cohesive team that's been together for years with just as much firepower.

Next year they have a better chance, especially when they move Haywood's contract for another piece.

lets keep it real. any team with bron has a chance to win the title. they are going to move out the east no problem this year. but next year they should get their act together. (just like the heat did)

If Bron continues to play like he gives a fukk and cuts back on the Hot Sauce impressions and gets his ass in the post the only team I can really see beating them at full strength in the East is Chicago. I just can't trust ATL or TOR yet because experience is just as much of an issue for them.

trust us

we comin

but why bring up experience like anyone on the cavs besides lebron and mike miller has ever done shyt

the days of lebron being the best player in the world and single handedly leading teams to victory are over

you could argue he isn't even a top 3 player anymore, good teams aren't scared of lebron

Who are your top 3 players in the league right now breh? Don't make us expose you to those that don't know you

Whatever he is, he's better and more experienced than anyone on ATL. He's much closer to this than he is the afterthought that you suggested.
