those are new genres...they are both new and and old at the same time. It's the same difference between Disco and House, Gospel and Soul, Blues and Rock
disco and house are def diffferent becaues house uses a 4/4 continues beat while disco doesn't. of course house spawned from it, all music evolves from another, just like language, english comes from latin and germanic but its a new language, however I wouldn't call future something different than rap, future rap would be like a new slang within the genre, like saying thot is different but actually its just a new slang. where is the new genre though? House was innovative, it had a new rhythm and motive, just like rock had a new motive compared to soul.those are new genres...they are both new and and old at the same time. What would become known as grime is that representation. Less polished, raw, expressive. Made by people from the underground.
