It's 10 years old. 150k miles, paid 24k. Put 5k down. Trying to have it paid off in a year, to avoid the interest. I was going to trade my Maxima in for a Lexus LS500. But test drove this beast and fell in love with it. I've never had a truck and i've always wanted a land cruiser, since back whenCash Money and No Limit were rapper about Land Cruisers. And the reliability.

Pros:
Drives like a dream. So smooth.
Just a Beast, almost 400hp
Just capable, hills, curves, offroad, i can tow up to 700lbs
Now I used what it means to feel in command of the road.
Mark Levinson sound systems isn't as clear as Bose, but bangs harder.
Love the split tailgate and power outlet in the rear. Just was chilling eating at the crib.

Cons:
Horrible on Gas (not as bad as I thought tho) Drove from DC to Louisiana and back over the weekend (2500 miles) $450.
Not as many compartments and storage as I would like.

It's basically this one,, plus I have bigger meaner tires.

They just be saying shyt in here :mjlol:

What they are saying makes sense if your poor. Because over 150k you very well should start doing maintenence, and may start needing some repairs and replacements. Which can all be costly on a luxury car. But OP obviously has money.

Lexus/Toyota are crazy reliable. I had two GSs (off the strength of the one my brother owned when I was younger): I took both of them to 75k easily with no problems at all. While I personally wouldn’t pay $24k for a vehicle with 150k on it, OP did not get burned here. These shyts are built to last and these aren’t typical vehicles. It’s a rare combo of real luxury and real sports utility capabilities.

Edit: 75k in just 3 years for both

Well, not a bad move if you're trying to be smart with your money. Cars are the biggest money pits out there. Coming from a breh that just bought a brand new whip and wanna cry.

Buicks and the Ford Crown Vic have been the most reliable American products, but they kill'em. American manufacturers want you to get something that's gonna break down and they preach BUY AMERICAN!
Yep. Buy Japanese :blessed:

I will say I was taught that Lexus is the dependable luxury vehicle.

My extended family is big on Mercedes and BMW but my immediate fam is big on Lexus.

I was told to stick with Japanese cars (probably so I don’t come knocking/calling about car issues 🤣)
