Joe Rogan bought a 95 Land Cruiser :manny: these Toyotas have a different type of following. Idk what OP got going on but it’s not unusual for someone with money to purchase and turn to an off-roader. A guy with a 2020 GT3RS bought a 13 FJ Cruiser with 80k miles for 31K off me. FJ is based off a smaller Land Cruiser. Same platform as the GX as well. They’re regarded for their off-road capability/durability. If bought just to flex as a grocery getter GX and not to truly off-road than it beats me :yeshrug:

I don't know a lot about off roading......

But F J cruisers are high demand discontinued vehicle. I do know that off roading is not a poor mans hobbies. You think rich man who bought it from you isn't dumping at least 20k into it?

If he already has a serious race car like that I doubt he's buying your cruiser as a commuter.

He sounds like a motorsports guy for real :manny:

as for Joe rogan his car collection is serious...like I'm rich AF serious lol

Absolute no issues. So smooth and strong on the highway. Done a little off-roading in Louisiana, truck is a beast up hills. Towed about 3000lbs, over 1000 miles, no issues, no lag. I now understand the cult following. I'd never not want to have one of these. Feel like a tank. Gas sucks, but for the safety and reliability it's well worth it. Probably no other car I would want to transport my family in.

Might upgrade to a newer version soon.

You literally can drive that Land Cruiser for hundreds of thousands of miles breh -- I had to put an A/F sensor and an O2 sensor in one that had 618k on the clock. No visible leaks, just oil seepage.

Hella late, but he was using it to commute. That’s one of the reasons they’re sought after. It takes very minimal maintenance and will run forever no matter what you throw at it. Some people just like the way they look. The buyer told me he was just going to lift it and put new wheels and tires on it. That’s pretty standard for anyone buying an SUV/Truck. He was going to cycle between this and his Tesla. He had a Jeep then sold it for the FJ. Joe bought the LC for his doomsday car if shyt ever hit the fan due to its reliability and simple make up. Idk what the point of your post was tbh, but you’re not saying anything I don’t already know. I private sell cars, and these older Toyota SUV/Trucks are my bread and butter if I could find them for a decent price.

Yo Toyota' s reliability is Godly , my Unc Got the same Tacoma for decades only a few lil issues like the water pump and the ac at first then smooth sailing, yooo I remember blasting it was written :ahh: on it when it came out and getting in trouble for touching the radio:flabbynsick: , my cuz got a Hilux an older one and a newer one no problems,. I'm def copping a Toyota Truck /jeep for my Farm. Also my HS teammate got an older Lexus truck and he put the conversion kit shyt looks like the new model still runs smooth 🤯 just maintainance of course. And this is all in DR where the roads are fukked up and all that.

Hilux? You not from the US huh? The Hilux is the vehicle of choice for certain types of groups in the Middle East.

One of my dream cars and definitely my dream suv, pandemic blew them up like crazy, had a chance to cop one 5 years ago, similar miles as you're for $9k and didn't :francis:
