Yeah, I try to tell people. I LOVE cooking. the... alchemy of it. I love cooking for certain family members and friends.

but....edit: lets just say Anthony Bourdain was right. lol

My weakness is dark chocolate. Chocolate week I was .



I originally went to school for something else then decide to follow my passion. I've always loved cooking.

The food world is and it sometimes gets the best of me. I really don't want to end up working in a restaurant because its too stressful and I can't be as creative as I want to be. Right now it's really for the experience. My plan is to become a personal chef with the possibility of a catering company.

Okay. I had no idea. I thought baking was baking.

My “Soul Food Pizza”.. chipotle ketchup, Lusty Monk & tangy diced hot cherry pepper base on grilled pita bread.. topped with smoked collard green, pulled pork & bacon..

fried catfish & grits, with raspberry creme cheese, grilled onions & mushroom sauce..

crab cakes & mozzarella, on avocado aioli w/bacon bits.. dressed with Arugula, diced tomatoes & drizzled with honey lemon balsamic..

moving forward- I gotta come up with a special for brunch tomorrow.. wanna start doing Soul Food specials, that day.. bout to whip up some jalapeño cornbread, deep fried Black-eye peas w/ havarti & seasoning.. cinnamon sugar fried chicken.. goat cheese log, rolled in candied walnuts..
