I won't lie, looks like this CAC makes some delicious food. I wish I could go over eat the food and kicks his ass afterwards for looking like a generally nerdy mofo.
Most of the big white YT food personalities take corny to a whole new level. But it’s worth suffering through some of the videos. Because they’re good teachers. It’s not just the white people. Pretty much all food you tubers are corny as hell.

Y’all gotta let the washing your chicken myth go, it actually poses more harm (spreading salmonella) than good. Cooking kills whatever bacteria you think you’re washing away. Now if you’re getting country butchered chicken with blood and giblet bits all over it, then yea, rinse away the debris. But packaged chicken has been washed before it even gets to you.
What about to pluck the feathers off?

80% of the new recipes and techniques I try are stuff I see on YT. Just watch a dude make his own spices and now Im thinking about getting a dehydrator to make my own chili or onion powder. lol

My girl will talk me out of it eventually but damn I want to rn
Things like that seems nice in concept, but finding yourself a local spice shop >>> fooling around making spices at home >>> mass market grocery store spices

What about to pluck the feathers off?
 haven’t seen chicken with feathers/quills left in it since I was a kid. But yea, pull those out

Anybody ever use orange pepper on anything?
I bought some bout to throw it on this chicken :lupe:

yes sparsely w/ lemon pepper too (I’m way more generous w/ the lemon pepper) on baked chicken...if you use too much it will of course taste “orangy” which I don’t like

by any chance did you use sazon goya...there’s a certain one I use to help season ground beef (helps give it a great taste) and it smells a little bit like curry

My mother was hating when I was cooking the burgers...:mjlol:

She was like what's that smell curry???

I was like...:beli: I cooked up turkey maple bacon and fried the burgers afterwards in the same pan...:camby: I used regular lowrys for the meat seasoning...

Who uses curry seasoning for burgers...:what: wtf

Typically pizza sauce isnt cooked. Just raw tomatoes pureed w some herbs. That way it preserves the zingy taste of the tomatoes acidity to stand up against the fat in the rest of the pizza

Marinara is typically simmered all day. The tomatoes caramelize, creates a thicker, sweeter sauce

Next time youre in that jam, try simmering the pizza sauce for a while. Still wont be as good in pasta but will be less watery/ develop flavors youd expect in a pasta sauce a little bit more
