I admit, I was wrong about the Xbox Series S.

the market has spoken and they’re saying they aren’t interested in it.

No amount of puff pieces from microsoft owned sites is gonna change its sales trajectory at this point in the generation. You’re literally wasting your time

WindowsCentral is such a lame outlet. I use to visit that site during the Windows Phone days and they would shill hard for everything Microsoft despite never getting any scoops from them. MS always gave their stories to larger publications like the Verge, Engadget, or CNET who all would then shyt on Microsoft.

When I found out my Xbox One X could download the 4k texture packs for games, but the Series S couldn't, I knew it was for the bushes.

:scust: If you only have $300 dollars you need to find a Job.

Not to spend on gaming but you might need to get your priorities in check if that's all you got access to.

clearly you need that 300 for bills/food

TYRONE GA!
The reality is the Series S is a half measure made available at a dirt cheap price. Xbox stans shouldn't be point at a device that caused them to lose release parity on the PS5 with a GOTY candidate as a win.

Microsoft thought they could make this cheap console and have it do numbers. The real lesson learned is people will pay more for something they perceive value in. Far inferior hardware on an almost 7 year old Nintendo console can outsell it and the PS5 that's $100-$200 more can outsell it. They should have been focused on correcting their software output not putting out a weak SKU that fragments their customer base.
Here you go making sense again

We said that from the jump

Also been saying for YEARS that their issue is GAMES

You saying alot but you ain't saying nothing, it's Xbox. They weren't going to sweep the market with series S, but it's doing quite well and fills a part of the market that no other consoles does atm.

And Nothing you said changes the fact that optimization for the S has improved games on other platforms.

yall have called for the S to fail since announced. It's odd, you'd think the series is robbing you all of content

The PS5 is proof they could have done better without this thing. People would have paid more for a better product instead of a broken play at value. Their brand has suffered because a lack of perceived value in the quality of their software and the play wasn't to try and lower the price it was to raise the perceived value by putting out more attractive software.

Corporate heads are going to try and spin this thing as a win but it's a clear L. When everything was supply constrained and difficult to get the Series S was the first thing that became easily available and it was so long before anything else. It became that way so fast because most people don't want it. At best it's a secondary system for people who don't want to fully commit to the Xbox brand.

When you try to fight a value war against a competitor and they take their lower priced SKU and actually raise the price of it you know you've lost that war.

Xbox fans are such pieces of shyt
Naw but they are delusional. The Xbox Series consoles are said to be selling at a worse pace than the Xbox One and they're trying to talk up this failure.

Microsoft clearly bet on the Series S making waves because of its cheap price. It even seemed like they put more manufacturing into making them than the Series X and most of the market yawned at it.
