The Gulf of Mexico is the world’s jacuzzi.

Laura was just a tropical storm and it drenched DR heavy, so when it didn’t weaken over mountains, it was gonna be a problem. Stay safe my LA/TX brehs.

I’m definitely worried about another hurricane coming up north this fall. Isaias was light work supposedly and that shyt wiped out trees everywhere in NYC.

Houston brehs. How worried should I be about my family there?

That last hurricane was really tough on them. Is this looking to be worse?

Are you talking about Harvey? Doubtful this is worse. I'm not too worried.

Thankfully Houston will dodge a major bullet from this (compared to what I could’ve been if Laura came up west of Houston) but Beamount/Port Arthur/Lake Charles could be dealing with their worst storm since Rita.

Every time I look at the satellite the storm gets even bigger.

:whew: I swear Idk which is worse, Hurricane anxiety or possibly getting a chick pregnant anxiety

NHC thinks the winds will get to 145mph at some point. Wasn’t this thing a tropical storm early yesterday?

Tell them to get out. Not worth risking their lives trying to 'ride it out.' It could miss, but if it doesn't, then they are going to be in trouble

It depends on where they at, Houston is big AF and this storm is projected to miss most of it

Y'all be safe in Texas and Louisiana

I'm baffled by the amount of times Florida has dodged major storms over the years.
Seriously, I wonder if there’s some type of statistic on it. It seems like the Gulf and the Carolinas are the ones that have really been getting hit the past couple of years.
