I don't think you can without doing some kinda multiverse collapse where all of a sudden mutants been there all along and only a few realize it was the result of whatever. From there I think you do smaller "weird" alternative style Disney+ shows leading to big crossover "event" movies. Like imagine a X-Force show with black ops mutants killing anti-mutant militants that eventually builds to some big budget massive x-men vs sentinel oriented movie. Or a jean grey going mad miniseries, a kinda Wanda Vision 2.0 that leads to a proper Phoenix movie. A weapon x prequel series that shows all the brutality those mutants went through and military fukkery that leads to an r rated Wolverine vs Saber Tooth blood bath movie.

Avengers story ends. First of all.

Stop with the Avengers. We saved the Universe already. Take a fukcing break.

I don't wanna see Wolverine til like part 3.

Start with the O 5 and build. Carefully.

Pick one of the big comic arcs like A v X to lead up to. Spin off X Factor X Force and such as we go.

You could have multiple trilogies weaving together .

Basically what they did with Avengers, but with X Men

Easy tie-in for Bishop, we need more black excellence anyway, with Bishop comes the Age of Apocalypse which can coincide with the snap, essentially causing some key people to die in AoA, and having Bishop coming back to fix everything, with help obviously.

Its either that or House of M....Wanda follows the comic book plotline and wishes to "fix" everything for everyone, and thus, everyone gets a hard reset in a "new" life. This one for me, seems like an easy way to introduce everyone, without having yet another, boring origin story. It also includes a hero we already know (Wanda).

high chance he's just going to be from his universe and emerge in the MCU via DR.Strange 2 confused on what's going on.
I bet his movie is about him finding his girlfriend's variant in the mcu and she turns out to be comics accurate copycat

yeah and Deadpool whole act is being Meta so MCU can be as lazy as they want because that would be the joke

Breh it's gonna be some multiverse, "Oops, OMG these people shouldn't be here" bullshyt and they are gonna beg Hugh Jackman to do atleast one movie.

At this point the X-Men don't make any sense in the MCU.

The best way to introduce them is Namor fukking up Wakanda and Black Panther and them trying to take it out on all mutants.

But, too much shyt has gone on for the X-Men to just pop up and "exist."

Not really :manny: you could just say they were keeping a low profile before the snap and most mutants were in hiding

Makes them immediately seem cowardly to me....”keeping a low profile” when the world is under attack? When a celestial shows up? When a mutant, quicksilver gets killed? When every hero on earth including howard the fukkin duck shows up to battle thanos? Doesnt make the x-men seem heroic at all....

Not necessarily, could just be that "mutants" have been around (and keeping a low profile) but the X-men as a team weren't formed until after the snap.

Hell, maybe the snap could be what inspired Xavier to start his school, maybe he figured if mutants were trained and using their powers for good maybe they could've stopped Thanos.

I don't really see mutants not showing up everytime a villain does something as that much of a problem. They probably didn't want the attention and figured the Avengers would deal with it. :manny:

No multiverse shenanigans
Just, hey, they've always been here

When Captain America fought Batroc it was just another Sunday

There are probably lots of other villains running around the world

Just start a movie saying teenagers have BEEN developing powers at puberty

And the public is demanding accountability

Every time we see a movie in the it's a slice of a certain segment of time

Just say there was other stuff going on in the background

Whatever villain you want to introduce, say they were operating in the background or on the run until they make they're big plan

Mutation was treated as an illness, a condition, a disability, a pandemic. The Fantastic 4 had an explanation for their abilities, the Avengers had an explanation for their abilities, Aliens, Robots, Super soldiers, infinity stones. What made those born with the X gene different and feared is they really never had an explanation. Some say it's evolution Some say they are the children of the atom bomb. Mutation is the Coronavirus, Cancer, HIV/Aids, Herpes, Down Syndrome, dwarfism, racism, sexism of Marvel universe. Mutants are stigmatized and marginalized because "People fear what they do not understand" Storm to Jubilee

Some of the people that vanished at the end of infinity war came back as mutants in the process of being returned. Cosmic radiation changed their DNA since the infinity gauntlet is something with cosmic powers.

Its not that hard, and explains how some of them have ridiculous powers like energy manipulation.
