The MCU already established Wanda is a witch with ties to chaos magic, and exposure to the Mind Stone expanded her powers.

Now you're asking them to retroactively make her a mutant, too?

If they had any intention of doing what you're suggesting they would've started with her.

"Wandavision" would've been the perfect opportunity to say her hex magic was actually mutant abilities.

Instead, they doubled down on her not being a mutant.

Fred.

I'm not so sure.

The reason her AND PIETRO were called miracles is because they survived direct contact with the mind stone. You think Agatha would have survived that experiment? Did Peitro get super speed...because he's a witch? Or just because Wanda thought it would be cool to have a super fast brother? How many people in the MCU survived direct/close contact with an infinity stone? Thanos, Hulk, Quill, Pietro and Wanda, all people with special DNA.

Being a witch (that doesn't know the first thing about witch craft) is not enough to get you over that hump. She is the lynchpin of the multi-versal storyline and the only thing that organically connects the rest of the mutants to our world.

I don't think so.

WandaVision actually did insinuate Wanda was born a Witch Episode 8 Agatha asked her if she stopped the bomb. Wanda said, "No.' but Agatha didn't believe her and called her a baby Witch.
Later, when she is getting experimented on by Hydra they state she is the only one to survive the experiment.

What they did was acknowledge that Wanda was BORN with abilities. A witch, calling her 'baby witch' vs. classifying her as an x-gene carrier in a world that hasn't discovered it yet doesn't mean much in the way of what happens when she encounters other mutants while she's tearing ass through the multiverse. I still say say fake pietro, those comic accurate costumes ect. were more than easter eggs and dikk jokes, it was her unknowingly drawing elements from other realites throught the nexus.

Matter of fact...

How far could she push that expansion now that she's read the Darkhold? World wide? Surely she's more surgical with that shyt now. :merchant:

I mean, if you wanna keep it simple, Wanda casting an expansive hex for whatever reason can be the the catalyst for mutation in this time-line. You don't have to re-tread X-men storylines, they can either already exist or she can be the apocolypse of the MCU in a sense.

Have a terrorist attack the world at large..Onslaught level...a mutant with his power level and determination would scare the normal human to death. He was whooping up on Hulk, Thor, Cap, took Franklin Richards and Nate Grey, made Xavier useless, had Apocalypse and Doom shook to fight him directly, creating a second sun...he is the definition of what people would fear about mutants.

Okay on to my idea about Mutants/Inhumans.

"The Mutants" branding is trash. I would say aside from trying to figure out how to handle her powers, the biggest challenge for the Ms. Marvel show is them trying to figure how to show a distinction between inhumans and mutants...and you shouldn't

You need to combine the two concepts from the jump and split hairs later with exposition. Inhumans end up with powers after being infected by terragen mist, they're 'sick', leppers, they need to be quarentined after a public freak out. From that point on, anybody mutating for any reason is IN-HUMAN rather than 'mutant'.

Look at Monica for example, the hex altered her DNA for sure but there was something weird going on with her just from getting dusted. Regardless of why you change...you're not human and will be seen as a threat.

Have they said whether they were going to keep Ms Marvel as being an Inhuman in the show?
After that disastrous TV show it wouldn't shock me if they plan on never speaking of The Inhumans for a good while.

A lot of people are speculating she won't be an inhuman at all, just a straight up mutant.

If they do make her inhuman, it's likely gonna be a disaster, if they were gonna do that then it should've alresdy been set up already

There's rumors that Strange and maybe even Wanda will discover the actual comics as they jump through different realities interacting with different varients of themselves and others. That sounds crazy meta but could make the reverseal of HOM a little easier to get to.

Imagine a portion of the movie looking like What If :whoo:

Man that would be dope as fukk.

Fred.

I'm still standing firm that they gonna pull them in from the 90s X-Men cartoon. There's just no reason or benefit to bringing that show back as X-Men '97 if they weren't going to incorporate it somehow.

What If changed the game, I thought that show would have nothing to do with the MCU and look what happened. Still mad I didn't watch the shyt week to week :francis:

I would start it with a horror movie.
All starting with Wolverine, they kidnap him, put adamantium bones in him.... ohh but then he escapes.
He's in the vents, hiding in places, smelling shyt, and BAM out of nowhere he grabs you from the shadows and slices you the fukk up!!!!!!!!!
Whole movie is Wolverine in the research facility, and in the end finally he escapes the facility.

Second movie is Rogue, played by Kira Perez.
She is seen growing up as a foster kid, not anyone loving her, then once reaching adulthood she depressed she can't touch no one or she steals their powers.
So she gotta wear gloves all the time.
The show is her not being able to find love and fighting evil villains during the day, in the end we get a cameo from Gambit, played by Bill Burr.

Then we get the X-men movie, and the rise of the Sentinels.
Kira Perez playing Rogue :skip:
