We are not taking care of the Americans here now. It is illogical to bring in millions more. You are naive and clearly haven’t taken a basic economics course. All of yall will be in one thread talking about forgiving student loans, fixing the housing crisis, asking why there’s no universal healthcare and then you come and say you want millions of illegal immigrants coming in. You cant have those things and have unchecked immigration. The top 25% of earners pay 70% of our taxes. Your plan is to import millions who will immediately add to the bottom 50%, drain those resources you’re crying about not being repurposed in ways you’d like in other threads when logic tells you we need more skilled workers to add materially to our tax base. You sound like a child listing everything you want with no reverence for how to account for it. We need companies moving jobs to America. High skilled workers. Wealthy individuals. Entrepreneurs starting businesses. Then we need an effective tax code making them pay their fair share so we can spread the wealth around. We don’t need an endless stream of impoverished people coming who will be a net loss. Why do you think Bernie stopped talking about illegal immigrants? The world isn’t fair. It’s not our job to save everyone. Those countries have their own leaders, their own governments and their own agency. Their negligence is not our responsibility.
