shyt I wanna be out and enjoy life too but we still wearing masks still washing our hands and cleaning surfaces. We in our 30s and following precautions and I got my vaccine in December. Meanwhile, you see overweight grannies that smoke wearing no mask.

where is this? i been to 3-4 states here in the northeast and they are all open for dining just not full capacity. Even the casinos are open.
i'm not minimizing the toll this has taken on parents but most schools around here are online two days and in class for 3. that's a big change from last year.

maybe the cases are down because everyone has already caught the virus. I remember around this time last year getting sick (a lot of people do too) and it sucked.. had all the same symptoms.. flu like symptoms. i believe the virus was in the states by December of 2019.

I simply cannot muster even the slightest fuk about her not getting this position. I understand it from the standpoint of political warfare - the idea that you don't want any "defeats" early on but even then I simply don't care. We have to be able to police our own side - and Tanden is garbage.

Remember when Netanyahu was basically pissing all over Obama, openly trying to sabotage his foreign policy; nominating ppl who called Obama anti semitic (and worse) to important positions; coming straight to the US to talk all kinds of shyt about Obama; lecturing him on national fukking TV and playing footsie with the GOP and Clinton affiliated Dems (incl financial supporters)? This mfer literally came to Congress (invited by REPUBLICANS) to try and derail Obama's signature foreign policy objectives. She not only invites Netanyahu to come speak to her organization, BUT then 1) starts questioning whether her organizations blog should ever talk about Israeli-Palestinian issues 2) allows various interest groups to basically create a process that subjects any pieces mentioning Israeli politics to go through additional editing and 3) essentially tries to censor any views that don't line up with the mainstream AIPAC/hawkish Dem views on foreign policy.
The worst part is that she did all of this shyt mainly bc she was a Clinton loyalist who calculated that distinguishing themselves are more pro Israel than the Obama administration was going to help her in 2016. You can trace the lineage of this foreign policy thinking all the way back to the Iraq war. She doubled down on it (and lost) in 2008. And 8 fukking years later still running with the same playbook.
