Because he campaigned on 2k checks in Georgia, not 1400 checks. Why are you being dense?:dwhillhuh:. Biden's proposal is literally $1400 checks, in part because the $600 already went out. How is that being 'coy'?

. Biden's proposal is literally $1400 checks, in part because the $600 already went out. How is that being 'coy'?
Biden says electing Georgia's Ossoff and Warnock would lead to $2,000 stimulus checks - CNNPolitics"If you send Jon and the Reverend to Washington, those $2,000 checks will go out the door, restoring hope and decency and honor for so many people who are struggling right now," Biden said, making his closing argument for the Democrats at a campaign event in Atlanta on Monday.
And $600 + $1400 = $2000.
This is first grade math.
Georgia Democrats Enraged By Broken Promise of $2k ChecksI'm sure people in GA want a straight up $2K check and will feel duped if they don't get it.
Maybe you understand and like wonk speak, but most voters don't. You can't run with ads saying $2,000, give speeches saying "we will give you $2,000" and then turn around and say "we really meant..."Show me where he says he's going to add $2000 to the already existing $600.
I guess you woke up and decided to troll today. Enjoy your day.And $600 + $1400 = $2000.

It happened yesterday. This is for federal loans, not private loans.Where you read that? When is this effective? Got a payment reminder
Show me where he says he's going to add $2000 to the already existing $600.
You can't do that, because nobody ever said that, and it was never a part of the conversation.
Right but this is on shytty messaging. Warnock and Ossoff both tweeted "$2,000 checks now." A lot of people were always going to take that as a 2,000 check being cut not a boost of $1,400 on top of the $600. I personally feel like this won't matter so long as this isn't the only check the Dems cut but if it is people who don't read too much into police proposals (most people) are gong to feel they were shortedThe conversation was always upping the $600 to $2000 because the $600 wasn't enough.
There was never a discussion about a separate $2000 check until after Biden's proposal (keyword: proposal) came out because people didn't know how to add.
