It's wild how Biden is literally dispelling their entire electoral project by failing upwards. He's proving that it's not policy per se. it really is a center-right wing country (electorally, not population-wise) and democrats have to finesse people into getting the results we want.
I don't agree with this. I think it's largely closer to a center left country but people want candidates who seem "normal" and aren't embarrassing, regardless of policy. They don't like far left loons and they really don't like far right loons. People generally agree with Biden on a multitude of issues (health care, taxes, child care, Ukraine, democracy, etc) and are willing to play ball as long as republicans destroy themselves with extremism.

The key is to focus on the issues most people give a shyt about, VS obsessing over the issues only the base cares about (climate change for instance). Good news for Biden is that inflation will continue to decrease, and likely will not be an issue by the end of 2023. Just this week the administration has allowed Venezuela to resume crude oil production. The result will be Florida becoming redder but that's irrelevant compared to reduced gas prices for the country. The pieces are moving in to place for republicans to take massive losses in a couple years, assuming Trump is the nominee.

No they can't. The article is titled Left wing politics and clearly says " Left is typically reserved for movements more critical of capitalist" I don't know how much clearer that can get.

If you want to be a liberal, that is a valid political stance you can take. I don't know why you want to redefine what leftism is to what conservatives think leftism is.
You can be critical of capital without being anti-capitalist.

I shouldn't have to explain this.

For whatever reason you want to hold on to the Mitch McConnell and MAGA's definition of being leftist regardless if the evidence I've shown to the contrary. If that's the sword you want to fall on, have at it.

Facts. You can definitely be left and a capitalist. Democrats aren’t socialists or communists in America, at least not most of them. I’m center left, and I’m a capitalist that criticizes some aspects of it as well

Sam Seder is my idea of a leftist. Not trust fund dirtbag leftists pretending reading Marx makes them arbiters of anti-capitalist rhetoric and movement building. They cant even win elections, much less talk to actual black democrat core voters.

The fukk has any of these online white leftists truly done?

You can be, in some Aspects, but people in the center left are not part of the left.

I don't know how you came to that conclusion. The thing that turned around Biden's Presidency was listening to leftist and progressive critics. Student debt relief, being on the right side of Roe, making himself appear pro labor, and finally dropping the bipartisan centrist horseshyt and pushing back against the Republicans. He needs more action to go with the rhetoric, but he's making noise with progressive ideals. That and he is purposefully making himself appear to be pushing away from the "center right."

Seems like the more he listens to progressives, the more popular he is. That's not a coincidence.
