I've noticed earlier this summer, some of the guys I've met off dating sites last year, that I gave my real number to, showed up in my Facebook under suggested friends.

I rarely give my number out. If I know I won't answer his call, I won't bother giving it to him.

As far as associates, I'll give my number out to those I trust and like conversing with. It takes a while to get it, though.

Everyone else gets my Google #.

I give fake numbers, just make up one off the top. Very few people get my number unless I feel comfortable with them. So guys off the street rarely get it.

I'm not comfortable giving out my number anymore. I used to give out my number all the time and guys will always blow up my phone all day and night. There's this texting app called "kik" and Ive been using that lately so I won't give out my number.
