you would of had to close ya eyes the whole timeI've been watching R-Rated movies since I could remember, so 4 or 5 I guess. Action movies & Horror movies like Nightmare on Elm street were non factors to my parents. Pops used to tell me to close my eyes whenever there was sex or tiddy's though.
shyt like Silence of the Lambs, Basic Instinct, or Fatal Attraction were off limits for me.
:nolan:I remember watching porn when I was four
I was probably about 5 or 6 the first time I saw an R rated film. My pops used to get a bunch of bootlegs of movies and we'd watch them. Stuff like Terminator, Commando, Die Hard, Aliens, Nightmare of Elm Street, Child's Play, and a bunch of other horror and action movies.
My parents didn't really sweat me watching violent or gory content as a kid. I wasn't allowed to watch anything that was too sexual in nature though....Even though I snuck and watched that sort of thing anyway.
These youngins don't know about the struggles watching Skinemax and scrabbled porn
Natural born killers contained a scene about incest set to a laugh track.
I still feel he robbed his kid of that feeling we had seeing T2 in theatersDepends on the parent and on the kid. We can make the generalization sure but every kid is different and as a parent it's your job to know your kid. I was just talking to a co worker and his parents weren't cool with him seeing ace Ventura in 94. Now to me that's absurd but his parents knew him better and that's a decision they made. You know if you have a kid who will run around repeating everything they hear or if you have a kid who's a bit more mature than that. Part of the job
great parents! My parents let me watch the OG Robocop when I was like 4 or 5
