To do 100 in one sitting mike dolce recommends taking a 10 second break every 10 reps or a 25 seconds break every 25 reps.

Push ups are an endurance exercise. If you do three sets of 60 a day, you'll easily bang out way more than you think in no time. If I cut back down to the 155-165 range, I honestly think I could do 80 no problem.
THe leaner and more used you are to doing them, the easier they will get imo.
