:wow: I remember growing up in Memphis going to Sheffield Elementary School and living off this book. I think it was the first book I learned to read. Any of ya'll remember this book?
My daughter used to make me read this to her every night. Time flies brehs and brehettes :mjcry:

IMO, Roll Of Thunder Hear My Cry, Let The Circle Be Unbroken, and The Road To Memphis should be required reading for all AA children. :salute:to mom dukes for making sure that there were books by black authors featuring black characters in the house. You the real MVP :to:.
