how long do u spend on a treadmill?

I have a friend who was training for the sheriffs office so they had to run 1.5 miles in 12 minutes so I’ve been doing that since late December a few times a week.

Before that, I would just run a half mile before I start lifting

20 min as the precursor on leg day. Usually mix in some incline walking at the end and bike for 5 min.

i usually spend 45 minutes walking...

the first 15 minutes, i walk at 2.0 speed...

the next 15 minutes, i walk at 2.5 speed...

the last 15 minutes, i walk at 3.0 speed..

i usually don't run on a treadmill.....

should i increase my time? maybe 1 hour..

want to know..
25-30 mins. 3 speed and 2 incline (will increase over time)

Training for a marathon is damn near a full time job. At least 4 days a week running at least 35 miles a week for 8 weeks plus cross/strength training. Also diet is fundamentally important - increasing calories and protein intake. I did two and I’m done.
