Pro tip: set a metronome to 180 bpm, put your foot down on each beat for 35 mins.

Was running tonight, and opened the metronome app on my phone and set it to 180, putting my foot down on each beat. Incline on 2, speed 7.7, 7:30 mi. Drop the speed down to 5.6 incline the same, still keeping the same cadence, foot down each beat (10 min mi) . Heart rate dropped 15-20 beats
I forgot how good this training is.
You zone out and focus on the beats, as well as breathing and it just zooms by.
Man it felt good to run.
