The Chinatown in Manhattan is heavily gentrified and will be mostly White owned in a decade or two so I don't buy this article. Most of the Chinese are moving to the Chinatown in Queens.

I dont care about diversity, because that aint gonna raise a black child any better when in so called diverse areas people stick to their own ethinic groups. Why do blacks wait on whites to gentrify communities instead lf doing it themselves? Because Chinatown aint just that, it's a mashup of Vietnamese, Cambodians, Thai, Taiwan Chinese, HK/mainland Chinese, Koreans, Laos, Phillipinos, Singaporeans, etc,.

It's majority Chinese (there are a lot of Chinese in the world) but it stays Asian more than it stays Chinese.

realistically though, Chinatowns nationwide are grimey, filthy, and filled with old buildings and really low revenue businesses. Staying undesirable to outsiders keeps outsiders outside

but if you remove the current and historical efforts of the Chinese associations, the "successful" asians(merchants, doctors, government officials etc), and the Chinese underworld crews, then Chinatown would've already been all white folks

They dropped bombs on black towns like that, they killed everyone and burned our towns down.
Whites have a far different attitude of blacks than they do of non-blacks.
They see us successful without them and they aren't interested, their curiosity isn't piqued, they are scared to death and ready to do what it takes to eliminate the threat.

I'm not questioning the wicked antics and animosity that white folks have for black folks, I'm talmbowt the various social and economical levels of Chinese culture in the USA making deliberate efforts to follow an unapologetic Chinese agenda, which is the only reason why Chinatown remain as it is throughout the decades

Remove the efforts of the various levels in Chinese culture, then there would be no Chinatowns in various parts of the USA
