Yea those with combat roles in the military have to hit a certain run time, so they’re not washed back from their job.Bet. Few of my homies are in the Army and all have no issue running a sub 6. These dudes running 20+ miles with at a 7:00 pace lol. Y’all military folks built different.
persistence hunters walked prey downActually, our (black) ancestors caught their food by distance running their prey until it died.

(Quote)"While animals get rid of excess heat by panting, they can’t pant when they gallop, Lieberman said. That means that to run a prey animal into the ground, ancient humans didn’t have to run further than the animal could trot and didn’t have to run faster than the animal could gallop." - Harvard Univ.
Gazelle/antelope/deer don't sweat like people do, so they cannot remove heat. Also, the Cradle of humanity is in EastAfrica and non-coincidentally thats where 90% of Earths distance runners are from. Don't cut yourself short, Breh. You dont gotta be fast as fck to catch a meal, just gotta run longer than it.
Distance running seems pretty usefull...
The last time I timed myself I ran three miles in 16 mins flat, so about 5 mins.
