How often do you run and what’s your training regimen?

Feel like I’m at the point I would need to incorporate 200s & 400s with other various workouts to accomplish a higher PR.

I'm trying to run a marathon. Already did half marathon but I legit don't know how to train for that shyt. But I feel like if I can't run that shyt in less than 3 hours fukk it. But that's insane to get, like my biggest issue is that I feel like I hit a wall in terms of my pace

I don't know how to get beyond 4:50 a km or 7:50 per mile

Breh, I'm in the Army but most of the physical training we do is bullshyt. I run like 2-3 miles 2-3 times a week. I also do something called '60/120's' where you run like at 60-70% and then walk for two minutes and keep repeating for like 30-40 minutes.

I don't really don't run pure sprints or shorter distances than a mile, tbh.

Bet. Few of my homies are in the Army and all have no issue running a sub 6. These dudes running 20+ miles with at a 7:00 pace lol. Y’all military folks built different.

You can find plenty workout programs online/reddit. For marathons you really have to stay consistent with the training. I’d love to give you some advice but I haven’t ran any marathons myself lol. Something I’m looking forward to in the future.

all I know is the first 100m is all that matters man
run in quick bursts

ain't no animal running for miles either you fast as fukk and you catch your prey/get away from the threat or your slow ass is starving/getting chewed on

fukk running distance always hated that shyt*
Actually, our (black) ancestors caught their food by distance running their prey until it died.:merchant:

Receipts
Link1: Humans hot, sweaty, natural-born runners

Link2: We Evolved to Run—But We're Doing It All Wrong

(Quote)"While animals get rid of excess heat by panting, they can’t pant when they gallop, Lieberman said. That means that to run a prey animal into the ground, ancient humans didn’t have to run further than the animal could trot and didn’t have to run faster than the animal could gallop." - Harvard Univ.

Gazelle/antelope/deer don't sweat like people do, so they cannot remove heat. Also, the Cradle of humanity is in EastAfrica and non-coincidentally thats where 90% of Earths distance runners are from. Don't cut yourself short, Breh. You dont gotta be fast as fck to catch a meal, just gotta run longer than it. :manny:

Distance running seems pretty usefull...:patrice:
