How far did Black Panther move up the list of All-Time Superhero Rankings?

Dude, Wolverine/X-Men movies don't make bank. WW beat all his movies in one try. That should show you her popularity.

He's not, but the simple fact that he's been the consistent face that helped push the comic movie line speaks volumes. Panther selling tons doesn't change the fact that he was a literal unknown his movie. He'll you had mad bandwagon jumpers talking about going wakanda not knowing that wakanda wouldn't let them anywhere near it's gates. Wonder woman came along at a new rise of feminism. Not to say that it was the sole reason for its popularity(Ghostbusters disproves that) but it definitely had something to do with its success. Most people couldn't name 2 of her villains, on top of the fact that she hasn't had any sort of media run in the decades since her tv show sans justice league, where she shared billing with two incredibly popular characters.

I put Wolverine ahead of BP. But he is extremely popular to a specific demo, especially now.
Wolverine has very loyal support but it is limited. Wonder Woman is known by a good chunk of women who are between 70 - 7 years old.

And yet, dc doesn't put any marketing behind wonder woman. She hasn't had a tv show since Linda Carter. There's no video games with her in the lead when she would have boomed at the height of Lara crofts popularity or around the fear effect era. There has to be a reason Why she's considered one of the dc trinity but dc hasn't been in a rush to do literally anything with her

As far as comic sales, Ive heard the success of the movie didnt help as far as people knowing who he is tho? Prob from top 25 to top 5

The trades from the current run to past runs and even minis are selling like hotcake and are high in the amazon charts. Monthly floppies for comics in general are becoming irrelevant and outdated.
