Still absolute garbage on par with the South Park Kanye dolphin song.

And I'm not trolling either. I still feel like the world is trolling everyone that thinks it is garbage by claiming there is anything even remotely redeemable about this album. Sh*t is truly Kanye's Encore minus the few good songs that were on Encore..

Lyrics are just :why:

Production is trying way too hard to sound groundbreaking while it's just all over the place.

:yeshrug:
Indeed.

I don't like that shyt either

Still a classic, nothing for the closed minded though.
Never seen a real music fan or anyone known for having a profound knowledge of this music thing not giving props to this album.

"Overproduced", no it's your mind that's too simple to cope the minimalism.
These cats say the lyrics are weak, yet in that other thread none of them had any clue of what All of the lights was about :smh:.

More like the other way around. People who call Kanye's albums classic are usually (white) people who never listened to hip hop before him or before Jay-z got with Beyonce. These people usually have no idea who people like Slick Rick and Big Daddy Kane are and they don't like any of the early '90s or '80s albums. They think Kanye is 'real' hip hop because he dresses differently and doesn't curse as much in his music and he doesn't talk about the hood too much but only about 'safe' topics. They hate music like OB4CL.

Honestly, this is arguably his best album since College Dropout. And I think the reason it has such replay value is because some of the production (a song like Dark Fantasy, for instance) is timeless--it would've banged in 1994, 2004 and will continue to do so in 2014.

Kanye will go down as a genius by the time his career is over. Mark my words.

Devil in a New Dress was my song of the year for 2011. And I'm a Taylor Swift fan :manny:
