How does My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy hold up 2 years out?

My son was feeling it.

And I'm not trolling either. I still feel like the world is trolling everyone that thinks it is garbage by claiming there is anything even remotely redeemable about this album. Sh*t is truly Kanye's Encore minus the few good songs that were on Encore..

Production is trying way too hard to sound groundbreaking while it's just all over the place.

yeah i was listening to some songs, and to me there is way too much going on with the production. like Gorgeous, the way he altered his voice on that song, makes the track unlistenable. the poetry he recites on Blame Game, horrible.


i think its a solid 4 mic album. nothing more.

the album is dope but the subtle devil shyt he added ALL OVER the album ruined it a couple months in for me. after a while, hearing adlibs on some devil shyt just gets tiring. very negative album it make sme not wanna listen to it. one of the first albums to do that to me honestly. i think its great too, damn shame

every single song, listen to the vocabulary he uses for the album, the themes themselves are just braggin ina whole different type of a$$hole way. theres no redeeming quality about anything

monster (obvious), all of the lights, hell of a life (sharing bytches), devil in a new dress has him chanting satan in the background, kid cudi singin bout living this down down down down, blame game revenge cheating. its like hes king a$$hole on this album. its perfectly executed imo but damn it hits. got my girl telling me shes hearing line from the bible n shyt. had to call it quits

the more i listened to it the more i saw what he was trying to do. its an album of excess and symbolism/subliminals. the production on this album is ridiculous too. i just gotta be in a real fukk everyone mood for this
