true. I've always thought that "classic = goat contender". Like a breh said earlier, that would mean that very few albums would be considered classic.

For example, A Long Hot Summer is a great album to me. Do I consider it classic? nah. Some do. It has a bunch of filler tracks, and Ace isn't exactly a pinnacle-type rapper. But the highlights on there are high and continue to sound good.
