WRONG. Poor black families with issues, never was able to cultivate family structure. For most black people, it was all about family.

Most black people are poor though. We are literally the poorest race. We've built this country, influenced the world in every field and aspect of life with almost nothing to show for it. Even the amount of money made from hip-hop could and should have been more if people weren't so short sighted.

Most of the smart men that would make a great fathers don't have any kids. We take our time and choose a wife wisely.

Most of our women are getting knocked up by guys who aren't prepared to be fathers.

My one of my friends is a good dude, got his bachelors, has a job, no kids, no girl has snatched him up though. I seriously look at these women like

Half of marriages don't fail, but as it pertains to the negro male, he has the highest divorces rates of any male and that includes when interracial dating. That tells me no matter the race of the women, the black man is not equipped to lead a household.

Because they look to the wrong people for direction. I don't understand what's so thrilling about your father being in and out of jail, selling drugs, shot at, being chased by the cops, etc that was SO fascinating that you wanted to be EXACTLY like him when you grew up.

Do you not understand how fukked up it is to think that way? The ONLY group I know that shuns education because that's the ONLY way to save you from yourself. Black men are allowing themselves to deteriorate and it's sad.

You have to understand the mentality. Most of these guys want RESPECT first. All men & their Ego want that respect. These guys grow up hearing how yo daddy was a G, he was TRUE . So most of them think that they aren't going to be anything other than a thug anyway so they feel..."hey atleast I'ma get my respect."

Alot of the guys who try to do right & end up with broken homes or fall by the way side is because they don't feel they are respected inside or outside their home. Their woman makes more money than them, is more educated & then the media puts it out that you ain't ballin like a G...so who respects dude?

Exactly. So many people subscribe to this incorect assertion. In realty black people in America have NEVER been able to cultivate a strong family structure. A combination of laws, poverty, lack of opportunity, drugs, amongst other things has made it so black families have always been torn apart.
