Luthor is based on Telly Savalas

he don't look like that guy in the cartoon
fukk what they say, put harvey dent up next to Luther them nikkaz look exactly the same
in the cartoon except one has hair and one doesn't. Just like Batman and Superman have the exact same
body with different heads I don't know what I'm arguing for

Billy Dee Williams was dent in Batman so it only made sense they made Dent resemble him in the animated series
when the superman series came out they obviously reused some of the same character models
my eyes can tell me that

Sorry breh but yall nikkas sounding like fakkits "Why can't superman/white superhero be black :damn:" because he not black thats why.

We should focus on superheroes who are black not try to hijack white characters, shyt looks desperate.
you's a brainwashed motherfukker. He can be black!!!! I'm not for it/ nor against it but your clearly against it! I see in your eyes that you feel that we can only be what were portrayed as on tv. Batman/spiderman/iron man/hulk/wolverine/superman all could be played by black men. The problem is people like you with narrow minded views that can't wrap their head around the concept of a non white superhero except spawn? Think about it a little. If they allowed blacks to play in these types of roles, it would become the norm! Your against it because you feel it would awkward/weird just based off his color bro. They all could be played by black men but the world has to see it first. We gotta start from the bottom though. We need to be the lead in romance books not based around tyler perry like plots for it to become the norm in the mainstream. The black family needs to be shown in a more positive light, period. Everything seems to be negative for us on a worldwide basis....especially in the media. Think outside the box bro

If you're ok with Bruce Wayne being black then you should have no problem with Malcolm X being played by Zachary Quinto correct?

you're comparing a real person to a fictional character, you obviously don't understand what he is saying

Being African defines the Black Panther's character, so a white person could never play him
just like a black person could never play King Arthur, because being european defines the character

Being white does not define Bruce Wayne
just like being white does not define Harvey Dent or Nick Fury

Peter Parker could also be black or any american kid, the story wouldn't change

Morgan Freeman wanted the role was Hannibal Lecter, and you have white people commenting on message boards saying it wouldn't work
because the suspension of belief would be broken because a black person wouldn't be giving the same treatment in prison or have a cult following

This what it all comes down to, a white person can't imagine a black american being the wealthiest anything especially in an american city
so they would be outrage if Bruce Wayne was black
eventually all these roles will be played by non-whites its only a matter of time

:childplease:

Horrible analogy, comparing a fictional character to a HISTORIC one.
Nope. Movies and television, like comics, are forms of ART.

And thus they are open to to changes based on the vision of the person creating said art. While some people might not AGREE with said vision, that's well..that's kind of how art goes is'nt it?

See..this shyt is an example of motherfukkers dabbling in shyt that they don't truly grasp. Dudes claim they want equality in how blacks are portrayed, but something like that would hit very close to home now wouldn't it?

The reason why Batman is not black is because BATMAN IS NOT BLACK dude. Bruce Wayne comes from a long line of wealthy white men. For Bruce to be black, they'd have to change the very history and make up of the character. Then it wouldn't really be Batman now would it? It would be something completely different. Which begs the question...why do it in the first place when there are tons of black superheroes that are not being used or pushed as much as their white counterparts?

Nick Fury is black in the Ultimate Universe and only Black now in 616 because Marvel knew that people like Sam L as Nick Fury better than some weird version of David Hasselhoff.

BS, if you want to film a serious docudrama about a historic person, you must cast the actor who LOOKS and can PORTRAY the person well.

It be as stupid as Morgan Freeman portraying LINCOLN instead of DDL.

You have also contradicted yourself here. So a historic character can be betrayed by ANY race because the handlers of the medium has creative control and thus it's a form of art??

But cartoon characters like BATMAN has to remain white because of his old-money background, no matter WHO has creative control of the character :what:

Im done.
