So far I have found no ancestors of Eastern European or Balkan states decent. But I am still researching. I do believe that I could possibly have a Moorish ancestor or 2 that fled Spain after the fall. It would explain the Iberian, Mediterranean and Northeast African that shows up. Every WP I have found all came from prominent British families.
Not that shocking.
Every genetic study I've seen on AAs says our genetic clusters are too diverse and admixed to create any coherent picture of a "community". I also doubt Ancestry has many AA samples to test against tbh.
You only have 5 percent Southern Europe/Mediterranean which could easily have come from Western European immigrants....same with the Eastern Euro ancestry
And plenty of tribes in West Africa who have Northeast ancestry and were not Moorish
But hey continue to believe you're an Israelite
Do you not understand the term possibly?
I have a strong connection to SC AAs in my results but they got Gullah/Geechie communities there so that isnt surprising.
All my matches that are closer than distant cousins are pretty much all from/have roots in Coastal GA and SC, so im sure we probably share an Ancestral aunt or uncle.
I just wonder how many Black folks have taken this test to cross match. Would need a whole lot.
Pearl being 25-30 cac yet having less neanderthal DNA than 99 percent of the people in their database tells me it isnt a whole lot of us taking these test to compare.

How do you explain how dude has more of a connection to AAs than an actual AA? :funny:

These test are more catered to white people. I did a Nat Geo test that had over 1 mill participants and Less than 1% of the people were in my Maternal and Paternal Haplogroups.
These test dont really help people in the Diaspora because they arent going to Africa to test a ton of Natives to truly get accurate results. I took these tests for shyts and giggles since I know where my parents from and know a decent amount about the migrations of our tribe.
They end up lumping most people in general areas, where could be where their ancestors migrated too but arent native from.
Like my results are Ivory Chost/Ghana & Mali, now being that I know how my tribe migrated I know why my results display like that, but for someone trying to understand their African connection, I think it may be kind of confusing.
Yeah, they can give you the basic breakdown of how much african, cac and asian blood you have but can't really specify region and tribe in Africa due to the reasons you stated. Diasporan Blacks are too diverse and admixed to really find "DNA signatures" for each diasporic group.
1. Not many of us have taken the test
2. He got matched with the Gullah people who are pretty much pure African and he is Liberian. Gullah people are dissimilar from the average AA.
