The average church isn't on some creflo shyt. they're called megachurches for a reason

honestly I'm baffled they take literally the biggest example of a money hungry mega-church pastor then act like your everyday First Missionary Baptist Church on the corner has Reverends riding Bentleys and Flying Jets. I'm sure if you told them the majority of Pastors work for free or for a very low wage and usually have a second job they'd refuse to believe it :snoop:

When you are afraid to challenge white supremacy and afraid to acknowledge the issue of white racism in this country, then yes it's easier to put your head down and reluctantly forgive the person who slaughtered your grandmother less than 24 hours ago :beli:

Black folks have been guilted into forgiving white people under the guise of religion for hundreds of years :snoop:

But let's keep on praying the bullets away
nikka you love white women, fukk kind of validity do you have on this subject? :heh: And your post history is extensive so don't deny that shyt and make me expose you

KKK was not a religious group in the beginning. It was a white fraternity that snowballed to them going on nightrides to scare and harm black people.

They incorporated christianity to it to gain followers since most of the nation were christians. And they did gain massive support. They had one President (Warren G. Harding) who was a member and they marched on Washington by the thousands in 1920

If these a$$holes would watch the KKK commentary from in the 60's to present. The KKK started letting ANY white person of any religious background in to the KKK

I think a lot of people would really benefit from taking the time to learn about the role that religion played on the plantation. It's not a knock against it or any other religion, but Christianity was used as a means to control slaves and give them hope that after all the suffering they have to endure in life, they have something to look forward to in the afterlife and one day their masters would be punished, etc. It also gave them an escape from life on the plantation. And for those saying so and so was inspirational in a rebellion, it's important to remember that many overseers were also against Christianity because it gave slaves time to congregate, where they could have the opportunity to plan revolts. :yeshrug:
As for modern Christianity, things like this aren't a good look:francis:
