Many black Christians were conditioned to be passive and were manipulated by religion to be "good negroes and to obey massa" Let's not act like all black churches were instrumental in the civil rights movement.

Let me guess, you support all these black people forgiving the white people who harm them :beli:

All types of people are passive, just like some are aggressive, psychotic.....etc

I support anyone who is able to truly forgive and move on with their lives rather than hold a grudge and carry hate in their hearts, because the former is much harder to do than the latter.

Forgiveness does not equal Condoning. Forgiveness means your actions will no longer have control of my emotions and life

This bolded is complete bullshyt :camby:

Forgiving the white supremacist that harm us gives them more power and emboldens them even more.

There were black people in Charleston, that were actually giving Dylan Roof forgiveness less than 24 hours of him brutally slaughtering their family members.

Are you black or white?

I know you are very...."vocal".....on this subject, so I'm gonna keep our back and forth at the minimum.....again, you are equating forgiveness to mean what you did was okay and I have no problems or want any consequences for you.

I'll answer your question if you answer mine. Yes I am Black. Now.............do you think it is easier to forgive someone or to hate them?

For example......I just received a "Negative Reputation" from a poster named @ProBlack Panther ......... would it be easier for me to hold a grudge against him..... or look at his AVI and see hes a grown ass man dressed up like a Mummy holding a piece of paper and clearly another motherboard-militant who appears to have serious mental retardation

What are black churches accomplishing today

- More community work than every black twitter user combined
- Still a congregation spot among older black folk
- a positive gathering spot for young black kids
- feeds people both in church and some share with the community
- offers students scholarships
- A community gathering spot of black non-destructive mentalities

The importance of the bolded cannot be overstated in these times.

Shout out to Nat Turner though but he was literally ONE guy in sea of bullshyt. You cant name any other Christians like Nat the cracka killa.

The African liberators of Mexico were Maroons aka not Christians, the Africans that led the Indians in the Seminole wars were led by Maroons, same in Brazil that's why these people can still speak their African languages and retained much of the culture, fukk your Euro Christianity god will save us bullshyt nikka :pacspit:

When you are afraid to challenge white supremacy and afraid to acknowledge the issue of white racism in this country, then yes it's easier to put your head down and reluctantly forgive the person who slaughtered your grandmother less than 24 hours ago :beli:

Black folks have been guilted into forgiving white people under the guise of religion for hundreds of years :snoop:

But let's keep on praying the bullets away

But this thread is about America, not Mexico or Brazil :dwillhuh:

You made a statement about Black Christians hindering slave rebellions in AMERICA and I countered with the Most Famous Leader of an Uprising being a devout Christian. Now you talking about Cinco De Mayo :usure:

I'm saying in terms of fighting against racial attacks against black people.

What are black churches doing to protect themselves from being firebombed?

What are black churches doing to fight against the hundreds of unarmed black people who are killed by racist law enforcement

Oh so now The Black Church doesn't "acknowledge racism" even though the biggest speech on racism by any president in our modern era was just given at a Black Church....under a Christian concept of Grace.......at a site that was chosen as a terrorist target by whites because of it's influence on the Black community for decades for fighting racism.

You seem to write your own narrative rather than talking about things actually happening, so this will be my last reply to you

Let me clarify. Im speaking specifically about charleston. There were actually black people from that church that's got on TV and said the shooting was not about race :snoop:

Would you agree or disagree that religion/Christianity are/were used to control black people to be docile?
