SMH @ victimology. He's stating the facts of the situation. It's up to Africans to change it.
These muthfackas are catch phrase posters.... you state a fact = victimology... speak about how events lead to the situation = living in past, talk about current climate = they are to blame.

Nearly 2 trillion of the wealth of Africa is sucked out of the continent every 10 years.... pushed through African leaders who were put in place to feed Europeans. Other leaders were killed or pushed out if they didn't stick to the program. Millions of Acres of land under cac control in Africa being 'held' and not utilized, while people starve.... ... More than half of the worlds Gold and diamonds in Africa... , and its the riches place as far as overall resources. Blacks control less than 5% of that shyt.

If Africans start killing or removing white farmers and business leaders they are attacked by the world and called terrorist. All African leaders who make a stand are dealt with. Anyone who acts like Thomas Sankara will be handled harshly today.

And the world's moral and economic compasses are set on CAC mode, so there is no help from outside of Africa..... who would be the counter to a policy of killing good leaders and creating tyrannical puppets??? Certainly not nations that allow 1% to control over 90% of the wealth...

Look at the top ten economies of African and u will see some of the worse puppets on our planet.

On top of all that... The true effects of colonization are just beginning to be felt in Africa during the 21st century. Africa's solutions need to be more militant than what this weak ass article is suggesting... the entire article and any comments supporting it show a complete lack of understanding of what needs to be done.

lol, This is what this article says......

How can we move forward if we have people who are averse to change in power? How can we account for men who, out of a quest for power, a desire to oppress people of other tribes while enriching those of their tribes and allies and a strong tendency to amass wealth to the detriment of their citizens, suppress the voice of reason and reign supreme? Are we still blaming “the white man” for our problems in Africa?
list off puppet leaders... most of whom were put in power by the west. Then blame the people of Africa for the corruption of the leaders. If those people attempted to take out these puppets then they would get treated like Most nations..... confusion then intervention. Either way, it's not like the West has African interest at heart - We've already seen that if millions of people are slaughtered and there is no economic interest... the west will not jump, but if there is a pipeline, resources, Israel, etc involved then we will Bomb the area. The Aid is only given... for dependency purposes, not to help. The Aid is given for control. and the effects of colonialism are current and ongoing... regardless of when colonization happened.
All I see right now is the white man helping us out of our problems, giving us the platform for our voice to be heard, bringing our criminal leaders to justice for us, and returning stolen loot to our government coffers.
really? The solution isn't to blame white, but it definitely isn't to praise white leadership around the world.

Excellent, excellent post. A lot of people just don't understand what's being done to African countries. And how these leaders are being compromised. If they don't, they risk losing their position or having their lives threatened. But it's time for the people to stand up. First step is awareness. If not our generation at least our children will act.

This is the type of victimology thinking that leads to nowhere

sure we can agree that its on africans to change it, that is the point of the article, if we put the onus on europeans to change africa that will lead to a dead end economically and intellectually

it is victimology when the "stating the facts" IS the plan and when people dont have real concrete ideas

I'm pretty sure that his stating the facts didn't mean that was the plan. First part in creating a solution is recognizing the problem. Quite an assumption there.

im pretty sure there is no plan, unless you call regurgitating marxist ideologies a plan

This will create even more problems.

Precolonial Africa was not clearly defined like that.

What maps are we going to base these redrawing of borders on?
Pre colonialism African Kingdoms were based on cut out borders by outsiders, friend. THAT created more problems, FRIEND!

because you are not offering solutions or a plan

i dismiss that type of talk because eventually the "plan" turns out to be a list of things that white people need to do as opposed the things that black people are going to do
Not offering one isn't the same as not having one. And stating facts doesn't equal playing the victim. That's the dumbest sh*t I've heard all day. Many people are still trying to find the right solution - first they had to identify the problem. Doesn't mean they're playing victim. Hell, I wouldn't even post my solution ideas on here, with all these c00ns and cacs lingering.

what i said was is that stating facts without offering a plan is playing the victim card, if you dont have ideas or solutions or can't offer them at the moment then there isnt really anything to talk about is there?

and again, the article is stating facts and the article is giving ideas about what black people need to do about it
