You stay in Houston?
What area? Don't be on some best kept secret shyt, but a nikka on game:steviej:

I stay on the north east now :snoop: I would suggest anyone moving to move on the westside, or central. Even central east is cool, like close to downtown or close to the Medical center those areas. The east side is so barren. I'm lucky I live close to 610 and close to downtown because I can just go to central areas for stores and resturants. If you can't stay in or by the loop definitely move west.

Beaches you say?:lupe:
How's it compare to the beaches in FL?
I went to some random state park beaches around the Orlando area that were legit AF.
The public beaches were surprisingly clean and accessible too

What do you consider cheap?
I was looking at some huge 1bedroom apts for like $800 in the area I thinking about (westside).
Shyt on par with if not cheaper than where I stay at now in the twin cities.
In Chicago a studio is like $900. Even tho it's relatively cheap for a major metro area especially when compared to places like NY

FOH breh I've been driving in MN winters since I was 16. Plus I'm coming there for some post-grad shyt.
Don't be mad you got some compeetition in the stream game breh :umad:

Hands down.....Florida has the best beaches of any place in the Continental U.S. Most of the state is surrounded by water. Now the Caribbean is where you'll find better (clear blue water, white sand). But as far as the Continental U.S., Florida is the best. South Florida is where you get that more aqua/clear blue look to the water. The Gulf of Mexico beaches are more calm than the Atlantic beaches. Tons of women at the beaches at any particular time. Good place to work on your mouthpiece and see some good sights. Beaches usually close at night though, you wouldn't want to get caught in a riptide at night plus high tide. Orlando is very heavily Puerto Rican influenced, good sized Black population as well. Miami very heavily Cuban, Haitian, Caribbean, South American influenced respectively. Tampa is a mixture of a lot of the Caribbean and South American. Jacksonville is a nice sized place too(I haven't spent much time there)

What side are on you on :franics: Florida definitely has better beaches unless you are by Corpus Cristi. Traffic is really bad. It use to be rush hour. But rush hour can range from 6:50 to 9:00 am then 3:30 to 7:30 pm then still traffic depending on where you are during lunch hour. Even living close isn't always a help just depends on the area. I use to live in the Galleria Area, I lived about 2 mi from my job it was just inside the loop. It sill took 30 minutes to home. There is a lot of good about Houston just I don't want more people :why:

Florida :heh: you know better.

Gat dammit me too!!!!!!

shyt was frustrating as HELL

:heh: Lol chicago has plenty of mexicans, ricans, and a few cubans so that shouldn't be a selling advantage for houston

Ill say, Chicago a better city hands down BUT, that doesn't mean it's a better place to live. There's a reason why so many chicagoans are moving to houston. Same reason why a ton of new Yorkers choose to live in North Carolina and atl.
and Colombians too in humboldt park Area some people dead ass think it's just black white and a few Mexicans in the Chicagoland area:heh:

I could never live all the way out by Summer Wood. It's a nice area though. I still like the Galleria Area, off rush hour it was cool.

All The Way One Hunnid
In Houston you're within hours of Austin, San Antonio, Dallas, heck even New Orleans. Plenty of places to go to if you want to escape for a couple days.

What places around Chicago that you can escape to? Milwaukee?
That's the shytty part about Chicago… outside of the city there's nothing.

Here in SoCal it's packed for hundreds of miles it feels like.

Houston. Weather is nice, cost of living is cheaper, and economy is much better. Only thing that sucks is the TRAFFIC :scust:
The weather, I bet no one says this come May.

Cost of living is a myth. I wish people stop saying that. if you live in a part of town where there are things to do its not cheap, far from it.

Depending on where you work , your commute could be up to an hour a day. And traffic really does suck, because everyone drives.

Food is a joke with a few exceptions. Unless you breaking bread for the nicer restaurants, get ready to eat shytty Cajun food, Mexican food, and BBQ.

The Asian food is good here

yea 800 is cheap bro. westside is nice, not the city, but nice. in the city you looking at 1 bedroom for 1700 up, which is a rip off imo for Houston.
