I'm moving to Austin / Houston in a month. Been in Chicago my whole life. Will never provably live here again. Almost all neighborhoods have shootings and robberies now. It's no pretty women here,idk why they are lying lol. Or they are popped off. Job market sucks, police racist allot of messed up traffic light and parking laws. Waiting list for most college degrees. Segregated and racist as fck most people only fck with they people. It's nothing like a la. Unless you act white etc. It's no type of night life. Only a few clubs and 2 or 3 bar areas. For a majo r city you would think it would have more. It's expensive to live in a decent area at least 1200 for anything studio etc I'm done with Chicago . People here lost. Looking to see what's to Houston tho and the night life

I have been several times to both Cities and I was not a fan of Houston. I found it sprawling, with everything spread out. I was also harassed nightly by homeless people walking one block from my conference center to the hotel I stayed at.

Chicago had a better layout, the lake, museums and parks.

I am from New England though, so I may just not be built for Texas. I LOVED Austin though....just too damn hot in August.
