What side are on you on :franics: Florida definitely has better beaches unless you are by Corpus Cristi. Traffic is really bad. It use to be rush hour. But rush hour can range from 6:50 to 9:00 am then 3:30 to 7:30 pm then still traffic depending on where you are during lunch hour. Even living close isn't always a help just depends on the area. I use to live in the Galleria Area, I lived about 2 mi from my job it was just inside the loop. It sill took 30 minutes to home. There is a lot of good about Houston just I don't want more people
Florida you know better.
You're right the beaches are better in Florida, I'm just saying proximity. I'd prefer Florida to live honestly. I love the Caribbean influence and proximity to the islands nearby. I've lived there before. Texas is too spread out to me and it takes forever to get anywhere outside of your own area. Most of my family is in the Southeast from Bama, GA, and FLA.

My dad was stationed in Oklahoma once. Decided to drive through Texas. Said it took him 12 hours to get from the bottom back up to the top to Oklahoma shyt is too big. In 12 hours you could get from Atlanta back up to Philly and New Jersey. If you move down there, you'll never get to go anywhere for a quick weekend vacation that's not in Texas.
Looks like Houston is the winnerNot Houston, it's too many people here I know people from Chicago that moved here.
Houston is also city life, if you stay around the loop you are good. You still need a car. But no, no don't come it's too many people coming.
Lol chicago has plenty of mexicans, ricans, and a few cubans so that shouldn't be a selling advantage for houstonIf you like Latinas Houston is your place. Colombians, Hondurans, and Mexicans can get it
Looks like Houston is the winner
I'm currently in MN where having a car was a necessity since HS so being able to drive is actually a perk to me compared to chicago where public transport might be more efficient. I'm not a fan of feeling cooped up in crowded cities.
Plus rental prices and cost of living looking nice.
Beaches you say?Not going to stop all the people from moving there though...... The weather and proximity to the beach is too enticing.
What do you consider cheap?people act like Houston housing is cheap, in the suburbs yes, but in the city? GTFOH
FOH breh I've been driving in MN winters since I was 16. Plus I'm coming there for some post-grad shyt. Those gosh darned simps.
Anyway, I don't mind people moving to our lovely city. But if you can't drive, stay off the road. We have enough women and foreigners clogging up the freeways with low IQ driving and idiocy.
Beaches you say?
How's it compare to the beaches in FL?
I went to some random state park beaches around the Orlando area that were legit AF.
The public beaches were surprisingly clean and accessible too
What do you consider cheap?
I was looking at some huge 1bedroom apts for like $800 in the area I thinking about (westside).
Shyt on par with if not cheaper than where I stay at now in the twin cities.
In Chicago a studio is like $900. Even tho it's relatively cheap for a major metro area especially when compared to places like NY

You stay in Houston? If you must.
I feel you though. I never knew having to have a car was a big deal, its just how you grew up. Good luck down here.
WHAT IMMA SEE BREHYou'll see when you get down here.
