It didn’t used to be like this. In 1995 or so there was a flood and my dad and I rented movies. Power didn’t go out once.

The point is anything these days takes down the power. My power goes out regularly now. It never happened growing up. Happens all the time now. Something seems to have gone past your head how we are discussing how every little thing makes the energy go down these days. My point was even floods wasn’t enough to take down the power back in the day. Now a rain is enough.

I've been in Houston ten years as well and this was the only time I lost power. Never lost power during Harvey, the snow storm in 2021, and the various storms we've had.
